I think a sit down Sarrett and Fichtner needs to happen urgently.

Does anyone seriously think we are going to go anywhere in the playoff's with no running game, not to mention our injury situation? Get real.
Also, when Ben is throwing his two to five yard passes, he might want to ease up on how hard he is throwing them.

That play to macfarland was there .... He beat the defender rather handily.... Everyone keeps talking about it being a mistake to throw to him, but no one is talking about the horrible throw that none of our receivers could've gotten to...

if the ratbirds didnt get anywhere last year in the playoffs and they had the best running attack. did tennessee get to the superbowl with probably the best back? did we get anywhere when we had lev bell a few years? all we need is a few runs here and there but for that we need better schemes because one on one power for the o-line is not cutting it.

The only thing I take issue with is putting an inexperienced rookie with only about 7 targets all year in that position.

Can he not create a couple of short yardage plays like they run in New Orleans with Hill? Sub Ben out and run a play with either a different QB or straight to one of the WR's or RB's? It works for the Saints and various other teams even if the defense knows what type of play is coming at them.

I wasn't crazy about Todd Haley, but I definitely wasn't a fan of let's go back to just giving Ben what he wants.

Unless the OL gets their **** together, and gets physical, and not knocked back off the ball...It wouldn't matter who you had back there

This reeks of Ben. Its 4th and 1. 4th and 1. So lets heave it down the field? How many times have we seen this and not working? I don't care what Tomlin said it was a stupid call. Can't even get a %^&$ing yard.

    Can you sing O' Canada

On those kind of plays, I would like to get to as basic as you can get...An extra OL, of 2..Tight formation, A FB and big RB, Tight up to the QB...

Not this 5 wide, shotgun, split out BS

The Matt Canada contributions to this offense have basically disappeared. We hardly run any jet sweeps anymore.

This offense needs to utilize the FB and TE more. It will help in the running game and play action plays will develop off of it.

Yes, but if you put Mason in that situation at least the loss of yards would be more explainable.

actually have no idea about their pro prospects, but was listening to the game a bit while doing errands and all I heard is their goes ???? 49 yds. Then when I got back in the car thinking Miami had the ball, there goes ??? 43 yards for NC. Just insane.

CBS has an article today about mounting concern within the Steelers organization about Ben's knee. It cited issues with the close relationship between Fichtner and Ben allowing for Ben to change the play call and then started talking about the dropped balls by Ebron and wait for it..... Dionte Thompson. Yeah Jason La Confora got DJ's name wrong which immediately disqualified this article for me. I mean I make mistakes all the time with auto-correct but my job isn't reporting news.
