They needed what..1 yard? That and the throw to to the Ol eligible going for the TD was beyond puzzling. You need 1 yard or less in each situation...we cannot get 1 yard w/o deciding to throw to a guy with no hands and and a light weight rookie with no experience.

Say what??? You’ve been absent it seems :lolol:

People have had a lot to say about DJ.

I think you have to keep sending them both out there, let them work through the drops, they are too good to take off the field.

Besides the drops, he can't block, but I think what I hate most is they don't even play him like a TE. He lines up wide like a WR.

It feels like we don't event have a TE on this team right now.

We need what Heath or Jesse James brought to this team. They blocked and ran routes in the middle of the field.

That's what the TE position has evolved into. Kelce and Gronk didn't make their name/money blocking.

    I hear you...

Kelce is at least a threat to block, and even lines up with his hand in the dirt from time to time.

Jesse James was a terrible blocker!

Better than Ebron, and hey...James ain't still in the NFL for being a receiving threat. That is for sure.

I said it after the Ravens game it's time to sit guys down for dropping passes, and give Washington more snaps.

Ebron seems so surprised that he catches the ball he just falls down, and gets nothing after the catch. The guy has been overrated his whole career.

His best season with the Colts was when he was catching TD's in the Redzone, mainly at the goaline.

I think that is the only scenario I would play him. Otherwise he is riding the pine.

Indy fans were saying when we got him good riddance. They said that he was a big tease, and will kill you with his drops. Sounds like they spoke the truth.

What board are you reading? Johnson is drawing plenty of criticism.

Ebron is doing more than dropping one here and there, and he has been a big part of the drop problem in the last two games. I do agree that the missed block was worse than any of it. I don't expect him to push around Chase Young, but to not even get a piece of him was inexcusable.

Seriously? Apparently, you missed pretty much all of Gronkowski's career. He is a beast as a blocker. Kelce is a good one, too. While we are on the topic of the elite tight ends, Kittle is also a fantastic blocker.

Of course they lead the league in drops.... that has more to do with them leading the league in pass attempts then them being inefficient or flat out bad....guess what?? ...they also lead the league in pass completions also. So putting up a stat that says they lead the league in drops is not very telling unless you address percentages.

He needs a good talking to. Shape up in all areas which would include blocking.

Ebron had the same problem with the colts. Would drop easy ones and then make some ridiculous catch, but the drops are definitely drive killers

Ebron is also making plays. He's made some big catches. None of his drops have really been drive killers. He's dropping like 5 yard passes with guys draped all over him. I'd be more worried about DJ who's suppose to make those catches all day.

Ebron is a big wr that Ben wants in his offense. TE has been a need since Heath.

Sorry, but no, he did not have guys draped on him for those drops. He dropped easy passes right in his hands. Turning third-and-short into third-and-10 with a drop does help kill drives. Yes, he has made some great plays, too, but he's hurting the team with the drops. He is also useless as a blocker, which is part of a tight end's job, so that makes it worse. His whiff on Young cost the Steelers a touchdown on fourth-and-goal from inside the one.

I am concerned about Johnson's drops, too. He is making far too many mistakes.

His brother Frank did all the blocking; Jesse just mowed em down with his 6 shooter.
