It'll be the RGIII showing the game is actually played.

I wouldn’t doubt if this was all a lie from the Ravens.

Agree, at the min that should be the case, but shouldn't come to that

Oct 5th memo from The Rog states forfeits are on play

    Forfeit

Not Steelers fault, as others noted if this was Raiders they'd be told to play

Every time I hear of a positive test on a team, I bet a bunch of money on the opposite team, in case there's an outbreak. It hasn't worked out for me yet because the only real outbreak was the Titans one and they postponed that game. I have a bunch of money on the Steelers to cover the spread, but I'm now starting to think my bet will be voided because there will be no game.

The betting sites are actually pretty slow to respond to the COVID situation.

Harbaugh cancelled the flight into pittsburgh a day before the league moved the game to sunday. Now he us telling his players they are off until monday while the league is still telling everyone the game is on sunday.

    What is going on?

Actually, they can still move it to Tuesday. If the Ravens choose not to practice between now and then, that is their problem. If they can get to the point of no new positive tests by Sunday, they play Tuesday. If they don't have any more positive tests tomorrow, they play Sunday.

The thing is, the Ravens were going to be short-handed without the COVID situation. Campbell and Williams are both injured and there was a decent chance they would have missed the game. The Steelers are relatively healthy. Maybe they would have had to go without Haden.

I suspect you're not buying into the 'NFL is anti-Steelers' conspiracies...

I hope the NFL comes down hard on the Baltimore Ravens. And other teams when it comes down
to being irresponsible like some of these organizations and the states that they come from. (Tennessee) Covid infested states half the population
of Pa yet 100 thousand more cases. Just don't care about anyone but themselves.
Multiple draft choices should be in the conversation. Then maybe they will take this seriously.

Possible solution to play the game and avoid a week 18 scenario:

move the Ravens @Steelers to next Thursday

Move Cowboys @Ravens and Washington @Steelers to the following Tuesday night

It all hinges on the Ravens getting this under control ASAP

Unfortunately its going to be week 18 at this point. We should be awarded a draft pick but it won't happen, stupid Goodell and his hence men will take one away from the crows and fine them to put more into their wallets.

I don"t understand why moving a game to week 18 automatically adds another wild card team. Can someone explain that?

The competition committee agreed that if they have to play in week 18 an extra playoff team would be added, presumably to make up for lost revenue and to ensure that nobody gets screwed out of a playoff berth for whatever reason. I don’t understand why it’s necessary either but that is what they have agreed

If there is a week 18 for Steelers vs Ravens, how do we lose a bye? Wouldn't that just mean that the 1st round of the playoffs start week 19?

Or does that mean that the 1 seed plays the 8 seed in the 1st round, with the extra team being added to the playoffs?

If we do it I think this would be the Super Bowl I'm most proud of.

I can see the NFL product never wanting a team to forfeit a game. It looks bad but in this case I'm leaning toward it. Then again our perfect season would be tainted.;+)

I would think it means that the teams that have make up games will play week 18 and the ones that don’t will get a bye. Not very fair

The Pro Bowl won't be played this season, they already announced it. And the week 18 would be for makeup games, they can always move the Super Bowl to a later date if needed.

Times like these I wish I was in the Pittsburgh viewing area. The local news and talking head shows must be very entertaining for Steeler fans. Family members seem to text me every 5 minutes with updates about the game.

My sister who is getting desperate and a huge hater of the Ravens is saying words I've never heard come out of her mouth.:@
