From a purely selfish perspective - the new time suits me (even if I have already cancelled a 9am Friday morning meeting)

As long as we keep our focus, it will be even more satisfactory when we beat these clowns on Sunday after they’ve been thrown a life line.


Im sick of reading; “we’re the worst 10-0 team” blah blah. The fact is, we’re unbeaten and we still haven’t found top gear.


Take our bye week, pander to the rivals... we’ll embrace it on our way to 7!!!! (Rant over)

Agreed. No bye week due to practicing all of week 4, no mini-bye week cancelled. Freaking need to just cancel the game and playoff seeding by win percentage.

 

So when exactly is the bye week for the conference champ? Please don't tell me week 18 where the Ravens game might get moved to if they can't contact trace properly over the next couple days.

If they are really being honest about safety, I don't think there's another option if it can't be played Sunday.

And then what happens to the bye? That game might decide conference champ and neither us nor the Chiefs would have actually earned it yet.

 

It doesn’t mean anything but remember our next opponent does play Thursday and will have off the 10 days before they play us the following week. Just another kick in the balls to add to the resume.

 

The week off for the 1 seed is wildcard weekend. if they move the game out of this week, they have to postpone all the playoffs a week in order to do so. They CAN do that and not really upset the schedule by taking out the off week between the CG's and the SB. They could also move the SB back a week as well and keep that schedule completely in tact. Word was they have the site of the SB reserved for a month.

 

Or use a local crew... even better get Pittsburgh Dad to do color

 

I don't have a problem with the game being moved. The nature of what the league is trying to overcome has no precedence. Not necessarily saying the league is doing right by everyone every time, but they are still functioning and because of it, we are currently enjoying a record breaking season by the good guys.

I just hope the league remembers that there was no official fuss from the Steeler organization twice if, God forbid, this bug rips through their locker room.

 

Steelers picked the wrong year to try to go undefeated.

 

The problem is the Steelers keep getting screwed out of rest time....

 

Great, now I get to miss the game cause of work. This sucks.

So apparently the Ravens have disciplined a strength and conditioning coach for not reporting symptoms and not wearing a mask indoors. IOW, the Steelers got screwed again in order for the NFL to coddle teams that broke protocol and as a result had outbreaks.

He's not in Pittsburgh IIRC. He's from there, but lives out west now and comes back for the holidays.
