Troy is out and Woodley is probably out that will make us pretty weak on that side again....

Mendenhall made some very nice plays and used the screen, swing pass game very well....

Redman looked stronger and the OL played their best game of the year by far.....

    Ben looked sharp,and played smart....

Wallace had a bad game...I expected as much,he has serious trouble against press man,he should have been in camp working on it....Any Team willing to press him can take him out of the game...

Miller continues to be huge .....

Haley had a great game plan he attacked the middle with the running game... if we could have played cleaner we probably could have scored a bunch....

I think we still need 1 Big Strong WR with some speed,,,this type would have changed the coverage a bunch.....

We need to sign a SS from some where Mundyis not the answer...

Nice change of scheme from the OL ,they went more Hat on Hat and it opened up holes ,,1st level blocking is the key to this OL....

Glad we got the win ,but we will need the running game to keep getting better....A short week and on the road we will need a strong running game IMO to get the win....

I was thinking the same thign about the bigger possession WR. We kind of have a mixture of that between Heath and Cotchery, and Brown has obvious possession qualities, but we lack the physical beast that a few teams have enjoyed. It's a luxury at this point, and not something that we MUST have, but boy would it be nice to have someone that can shield defenders with his body and outreach/outjump opponents.

I think we've seen what Redman is best at, short yardage is his specialty and that should be his role.

i am still hoping that redman can become a bettis type back (3rd and 1s become automatic 1st downs)

Redman will put up good numbers...as a change of pace back. The second he's throw in as the man, and once teams start game planning to specifically shut him down, he's useless. It's no different than a mediocre #3 WR being thrown into the #1 spot and suddenly having to compete against the other teams top CB. It just isn't going to work.

As long as Mendenhall is running well, Redman will also have success when he comes in to spell him
