Some random thoughts from today's game:

-And suddenly, we discovered a running game: We missed Mendy. Memo to him: Contract year, keep rollin'
-A Brown & M Wallace: we'll give you a mulligan, but you can't drop too many crucial passes on close games again
-J Cothcery is always there when needed, it was just misfortune that he slipped
-Big ben's 4th quarter comebacks are still there, and it's good to know that
-That play, when the Eagles CB threw away AB's shoe... wasn't it worth an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty?
-Great option fake by Big Ben, but can't do that again, if he gets hurt our season is over
-Our OLine delivered big, with no sacks and great blocks for our running game. But... there were 2 bad snaps that any other day could have meant a sack or a lost fumble, plus some stupid penalties. Those things make the OL still an issue
-When are we gonna give reps to the rookies, besides Rainey? Ta'amu hasn't even dressed
-Good playcalling on Offense. Haley does make a difference
-Why is McLendon not getting more playing time?
-Timmons was amazing today, he needs to keep playing like that (I wonder why he can chase and tackle Vick but not Manning or Palmer)
-And that, Mr Worilds, is what we were expecting you to do for this team. You'll need to bring your A game on thursday (Woodley seems a long shot to play anytime soon)
-First real test for Suisham this season, and he delivered. Still not sold on him
-It was a big defensive display for 3 quarters, but again our D gave up a lead changing TD in the 4th quarter
-Polamalu: how many complete games does he have remaining in his carreer? If I was Vegas, I'll say the over/under line would be 30
-In consequence, I'm afraid its time to start thinking about another starter at SS, and Mundy is not the answer.
-Can't commit 2 penalties on the same drive, both 15 yarders, when protecting a lead. I know that both were close calls -questionable ones, to be precise-, but we cannot put ourselves on that situation, giving 30 yards to a Referee's criteria
-Clark still making huge plays. I was not his fan when we signed him, but he has exceeded my expectations, by far
-That image from Ben & Coach T at the end of the game is priceless...

For sure, I'm missing a lot of things. Who helps me?

Ta'amu is 3rd on depth chart he won't play unless there is a injury, McClendon needs more playing time Hampton can't even run there was one play he didn't even try.

    More random thoughts:
-Mendenhall's explosiveness and sheer athletic ability is so far ahead of any othe RB on the roster it's stunning!
-Why is Steve McClendon not starting? He's a beast and a difference maker when he's in the game.
-Did you see Troy's injury? Bizarre. No contact, he took several steps and then all of a sudden, acted like he had been shot in the calf. Weird. The guy's falling apart.

i was thinking the same thing.

they did beat a good team even with the refs calling a one sided game. the penalties against the the Steelers were all pretty legit, but they swallowed their whisle when it came to the Eagles.

you Know Brown and Wallace will not have too many bad games like that.

Ben has been taking what the defense is giving him and its paying off.

Harrison made it through the game as did Mendy and they both looked pretty good.

the oline seems to be improving and will only get better if Decastro gets back.

the defense finally looked like the defense of old. causing turnovers and getting pressure on the qb.

Timmons was an absolute beast. thats what i expect from him every week.

and most importantly, they got the W.

Except for Mendy, it was sloppy play all around. Yes a W is a W but it was a terrible showing.

The one where Vick ran right past him??? Not sure if this the one you are referring to but this is the one I noticed. I thought Casey looked HUGE yesterday!
