LeBeau adjustments

It's about time he turned these guys loose especially Timmons instead of having the fastest and athletic lb dropping into coverage. Maybe he heard all the criticism of his defense being too predictable. I hope he stays with the more aggressive approach instead of the passive defense we saw against Denver and Oakland.

 

maybe spence was supposed to take over the coverage role. smaller, intelligent, and maybe faster the way they talk. would love to see more of this type of play out of timmons

 

I really do think having Harrison back changed the game plan for Timmons.

 

My friend (who is a huge Eagles fan) came over and watched the game with me. During the middle of the game, he asked me why the Steelers cornerbacks give such a big cushion to the receivers.

I said that's the way Coach Lebeau has them playing. Although, in this game I noticed, one of the cornerbacks played back, while the other played man to man.

Anyone noticed how the Eagles cornerbacks played the Steelers receivers? tight coverage and man to man, that's how we should run our defense.
