This is the 18th time Roethlisberger has been named AFC Offensive Player of the Week. He was last awarded the honor in Week 10 of 2018.

We all do but that isn't anything out of the norm for teams to struggle for years after an elite QB leaves.

The only team that I can think of that went from an elite QB directly to another elite QB was Green Bay when they transitioned from Brett Favre to Aaron Rodgers. Can't think of any others off the top of my head. If anybody comes up with another duo let me know.

86 brings up a good question. Is there any other teams that went from elite QB to elite QB? Could we say Montana to Steve Young????? Young did get them a Super Bowl but I doubt he was considered an elite QB.

    Good head scratcher for sure.

Steve Young was absolutely an elite quarterback.

Steve Young was definitely elite. Montana-Young is comparable to Favre-Rodgers, with both successors winning Super Bowls.

Peyton Manning to Andrew Luck. Andrew Luck didn't reach elite levels, but the potential was there.

This is way off topic, but for years and years, I read your username as Big Steeler Fan Inky (as in someone with the nickname "inky") but I just realized it's probably In KY. :lolol:
