    * Mendy rushed for 81yards & a TD
    * 31 rushes for 136yds (4.4yds/carry) compared to 37 pass attempts
    * +2 in turnovers
    * a win - might be ugly, but still it's a W

    Yep. It's incredible the effect a good running game can have on all other aspects of the game. It changes everything.

    -Timmons was everywhere (how does he catch Vick but not Peyton?)
    -No turnovers or sacks (HUGE) on offense
    -3 sacks and 2 turnovers on defense
    -Mendy looked frosty
    -Harrison popped Vick three times. It can't be a coincidence that when he finally gets back, Timmons has his first strong game in 20 games
    -penalty problems faded in the 2nd half

    Timmons was the man today.....as for the Vick vs Peyton...it was all angles on the Peyton ....Timmons own speed led him past Manning...by the time he got his momentum moving back Peyton was on the run....(Objects in motion tend to stay in motion)

    HACK

    I just realized that this adds another game to Ben's 4th quarter comeback stat. How many does he have? (I didn't get to watch the game so I apologize if they stated it during it)

    Ben is playing at a very high level. I heard that his QB rating is second to only Matt Ryan.

    He has the highest QB rating in the league on 3rd downs. Going into this game it was 145 I believe.

    We Won...
    That`s really all I can come up with...
    Yeah. Ben wasn`t sacked, and didn`t lose a fumble, even though he about broke his own arm, pinning the ball to his helmet with it, before he came down on the turf...
    I Am happy we won, but, can`t help feeling we took a step back, overall, from the Jets game, or even the loss to the Raiders.
    That had to be one of the crappiest wins I have ever seen.
    I always try to look on the glass is half full, side of things, but other than the fact the we somehow came out of the first half, with a 10-0 lead... That was PATHETIC.... A win is a win is a win... and we needed one BAD!
    But, we REALLY need to play more like the team that beat the Jets, and lost to the Raiders, if we expect this season to end in the Superbowl!(Well, with the obvious exception of not giving up 34 points on defense)...
    Edit... And, oh yeah, not to sound like too much of a sourpuss... That was a great game by Timmons... Shame Woodley went out with an injury...

    We're not sitting with 3 losses in the column like some other team that has an elite QB and is some from Midwest state.

    worilds had a good day too.

    should we fire DLB because his scheme is bad? HA i say. :)

    hats off to timmons.

    they brought some of the big LB'ers from different spots that i touched on last week. it worked well when used.

    they also used some of the rb swing passing that i touched on and what a difference a feature back makes.

    the refs target us, i don't care what anyone says. pitiful. mundy now under the microscope with clark. ike is a target too.

    colon :facepalm:

    max played ok but had alot of help still most times, but not to bad.

    we won ugly but we won.

    squeeze um has done well so far.

    special teams looked better.

    ben had a good game again, but man he threw a couple of clunkers again.

    gilbert looked a little better this week.

    glad mendy is back.

    stinkin ravens pulled another out of their arses.
    :cool:

    WE won...that's what counts...great to see Mendenhall back out there...I think he helped spark the team...plenty of positives on both sides of the ball...but I'm still ticked that once again...3 times in the Red Zone,we settle for 3 field goals.I know we can do better in the Red Zone...it's almost lookin' like some kind of mental block or somethin'.

    I think this is a very underrated point. I love that we came from behind and won the game because we haven't been able to do that lately, failing last week in Oakland, and twice against Denver recently. Glad to see them right the ship and put away a team with the game on the line. Could be a huge confidence boost, but it's not like the offense really needs one right now as they have been playing very well so far.

    Timmons needs to bottle that intensity from this game and use it every game moving forward in his career.

    I was pleasantly surprised with how well Harrison played, he kept in shape very well for not being able to practice, he was definitely a force in this game. I honestly thought Troy would have the great game, and Harrison would struggle...just the opposite I guess?

    Cmon lets be honest with ourselves, Lawerence Timmons was the player of the day.
    He was a game changer today. My Question is why can't he and others play like this week in week out?

    Postives:
    We won, wasn't pretty, but a win is a win.
    Running game with Mendy and Redman looked the best it did all season, plus the Eagles D isn't bad so that was a good thing.
    Ben wasn't sacked. Write that one down.
    Suisham 3 for 3, 8 for 8 on the year, making many of us eat crow.
    Deshaun Jackson and McCoy didn't tear us up.
    Timmons looked like a beast, wish he played like that every week.

    Negatives:
    Troy is hurt again, I feel for the guy, by far my favorite player, but this isn't good.
    Woodley's hamstring is hurt again, nagging injury
    Dropped passes, Wallace needs to keep on his routes, he gives up way to easy sometimes. Even Brown missed a few too.
    Ben overthrew a few times, a little more touch he would have had a TD or two.

    Okay, but the reality is there that it didn't need to be that way.

    In the first trip to the RZ, if Cotchery had any kind of foot control he was getting a TD. The guy basically tackled himself.

    In the second trip, Ben missed an open Heath Miller, and he knew it was his fault, and we walked away with just the FG.

    In the 3rd trip, we weren't even trying to get the TD, we tried nothing more than to run out the clock.

    I think there were a ton of positives from this game, but I still worry about our 2nd half D. The Eagles had the ball 3 times in the 2nd half. They scored TDs on 2 of them.

    I think Timmons was the designated spy on Vick, maybe he should be the QB spy the rest of the year if thats what it takes to light his fuse, lets dont lose sight of the fact that Suisham won that game with 3 seconds left, that was a big time pressure kick and he passed the test with flying colors....
