    Sad case for sure. Hopefully he'll be fine long term. A lot is still unknown about this virus, but to be fair, a lot is still unknown about the flu too. Why do some healthy, young people die from the flu? It's not known and we've been studying the flu for decades. So I don't expect researchers to ever fully understand why Covid affects some people severely and others not at all.
