Tomlin Story Line - Cast Shade at Lamar Jackson

This is a story line being created to try and stir up the Ravens for Thanksgiving night. Tomlin said "We have respect for him, but we don't fear him." Basically, all this statement by Tomlin says is we will come after him and do our job. If all they did was sit back and wait for him to do his thing, then that is fearing him. I don't believe this statement was any way casting shade at Lamar Jackson and his abilities.

 

I think he said they respect him, but they don't fear him, where's the controversy?

Yes, somehow I deleted part of the quote. But, you are correct he did say "we respect him". I corrected my original post. I think it is the story line they are trying to spin it as casting shade. It was in no way controversial. It was a respectful statement overall, but media is trying to get a story out of it.

Let the National Sports Media say what they want to. Heck, this is not the first time that the National Media has spun and twisted narratives to begin with. Besides, if people believe Tomlin was throwing shade, like Marcellus Wiley, then let them!!
