Did anyone know why Snell got zero carries Sunday? injured? Tomlin worried about his ball protection?

He has been brought in some to rest Conner at times, and also for some short yardage plays.

Also, I noticed Samuel getting in on a couple of plays, dropped a ball too. Why was he even playing?

Yeah snell always gets a few carries. He got a TD last week. They went away from the run so maybe it was a gameplan thing.

I see no reason whatsoever for Samuels to be out there. There are better options on the roster for just about everything that he does

I remember seeing Snell on Special teams, so I assume he wasn't injured.
J Samuels doesn't seem to have a place where he fits in on this team right now.

Steelers abandoned the run in the 2nd half right up until the 3rd and 2 when one first down would have ended it.

Conner got stuffed, didn't like the play call, I would have tried a motion play end around Claypool or McCloud, or do a quick slant.

Steelers get that 1st down it's over.

But, Snell hasn't seen the field much. McFarland got one carry and slipped or he would of gotten a good 8 to 10 yards at least.

Maybe Snell's ball security factors in

Samuels is a jack of all trades, master of none type player. I like him on the roster for depth, but I do not see the purpose of getting him in the game needlessly. Like others have said, he doesn't bring as much to the table in any circumstance, as the other 3 backs.
