With a win over the Cowboys, these Steelers will hold the franchise record for most games undefeated. 1978 went 7-0. (Rather take that end result though)

Steelers have not beaten Dallas since the 2008 season, the last time we won a super bowl. Romo threw that pick six to seal it. (Maybe that’s why Romo was gushing at Baltimore lol). The last matchup had Cowboys marching down with 40+ seconds to win the game.

Dallas are a mess this season. No Dak, O line is banged up, they cannot protect the quarterback allowing 15 sacks in last 4 games. Dalton and Denucci aren’t even averaging 10 points a game. Dallas defense has been historically bad this season.

I expect a close game lol. With that being said, let’s get it done. The NFL world is itching for Steelers to lose already lol, not yet.

I hope this isn't the typical yearly trap game. There is no need for Tomlin to play down to this competition. Dallas is a shell of itself and we should dominate in all 3 phases of the game. It shouldn't even be close. That said, I expect us to squeak out a win.

This game should be a joke, did you watch Sunday Night football. Two things are important with this game:

    1. Win
    2. Stay healthy

Everything else doesn’t matter. This is the type of the game however that Ben should be out by the third quarter and Rudolph should get some work.

I'll assume you mean to start the season. The year we went 15-1, I think it was Ben's first year? Too lazy to look it up but wonder when tha loss came about. I think Tommy and his Patriots beat us in the Burgh in AFCCG.

This ‘should‘ be a straightforward win. Dallas are an absolute dumpster fire all over the field and their players have given up as far as I can see. Their secondary is a straight up joke, Ben and the offence should have a field day.

I’d like Snell and McFarland to get the majority of the workload in the run game here, see what they can do. Bring Conner on only if needed.

It would be great if they could limit snaps for Heyward, Alualu and other veterans that have been banged up as well but of course you need to be careful and wary that Dallas does have some good receivers and Zeke is still dangerous if he gets the space to work.

Strange that a pre-season game was scheduled right in the middle of the regular season. Wonder how long the starters will play? Good opportunity for the newbies to show their stuff. ;)

Carson Wentz turned the ball over 4 times and still beat them, several were in the Red Zone.

You worry about the last two weeks taking a lot out of the Steelers. This will be a further traveled game, and the 3rd week in a row of travel.

I think we need a return to James Conner and Benny Snell football, keep Ben in the 20-30 throws max a game range.

More than likely going against Dalton than DaNucci. Keep Zeke in check.

Just need to avoid a let down game. But, I like the mindset this team has, I just don't get a feeling that they will over look anybody or anyone.

The Steelers lost to the Ravens the second game of the 2003 season in Baltimore. Tommy Maddox started the first two games, but left the contest against the Ravens with an injury. Roethlisberger took over and has held the job ever since. The Steelers won the remaining 14 games in the regular season and a playoff game against the Jets before losing to the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game.

Heinz and me both tend to wait for bad things to happen to the Steelers. I always think we'll lose but I'm having a hard time picturing Dallas beating us and I'm thinking Heinz feels it to.

I bet a board member once and we used our avatar's as the risk. He lost and had to put the Cowboy emblem up for a week. You and heinz could bet something like that.

I'm guessing you won't make that bet this season. I think we both know who will win the NFC Least.

If memory serves me well, that loss came in week 3 ironically against the ravens when tommy Maddox got hurt and in stepped Big Ben, and the rest is history

I don't bet. The Picard facepalm avatar is perfect for the Tomlin era Steelers.
