Yeah, Watt was there, but Watt didn't meet him head on. Spillane stood him up head on.

If you watch the replay you can see that Henry was still going at full speed when he met Spillane, and Henry stopped dead in his tracks. Watt may have helped tackle him, but at that point, Henry was no longer in motion.

Barring injury, no one is going to run on this team this year. Damn, the front 7 just put the league on notice.

Yep, because if Ben decides to call it quits we would need all the defense we can get.

Just said this very thing in another thread. He won't be getting back up. Worst case, it will take the desire to run right out of him.

It's absurd. Henry, who is an absolute MONSTER and has been the best back this year, picked up like 30% of his total yardage on one drive and was abysmal most of the game. That's insane.

Vicious hit. I was shocked he was able to stay in the game after that. He looked stunned right after he got hit.

The run defense was certainly impressive, though that doesn't mean they will stop the Ravens. Having to account for Jackson as a runner creates a completely different set of problems.

I think I've established that I don't get giddy, happy, or even content much at all. But I'm with @SDOT and a few others who sported wood during that game. Wait...I wasn't WITH SDOT getting wood...or any other dude. I'm just saying that we were watching the guys in black and gold and got erect. No wait, that doesn't sound any better. Watching TJ take Henry to the ground with authority made me feel all warm and tingly. Nope, still digging a hole. I think I'm going to shut up now.

Damn, our front 7 are studs.

That hit on Henry was magical. Hopefully Spillain is ok stopping that truck in his tracks. Reminds me of Olsavsky a lunch pale type.

Yeah, I was like, great, way to take one for the team and break your shoulder. And then Minkah gets the PI/hold on the next play. Fortunately, Spillane was able to return, so no one has to set Fitz's mailbox on fire. But if someone wants to dent it real good, I'm okay with that. :hehehe:

Agree, especially on the outside. I do think we hold the Ravens to 25pts. or under. Steeler scoring is my main concern.

That we are both in first place, of course:)

Actually I think the Eagles are the odds on favorites to win the NFC Least now. This is what I keep hearing whenever I boast about my boys being last undefeated team, "record doesn't matter once Playoffs start". And they are right.

My brother is an Eagles fan. All he keeps telling me is how terrible the Eagles are this year. I'm the one encouraging him by saying they will probably win that craptacular division.

To a degree, that's correct because it is the beginning of a new season. But a #7 seed will always be on the road and will almost always be underdogs.

Agreed on that play, I should have been more specific, Watt was making those plays all day. Both are animals.

And they would probably be a 4th seed even with the worse record of Playoff teams in NFC.

Don't want to rain on anyone's parade in our moment of celebration, but I think when the time comes, spillane may have just added his name to those that have priced themselves out of pittsburgh...... That hit just put him on every bad defenses radar
