Titans Line

Opened at Steelers -2.5 on the road.

Current line is Titans -1.

You rarely see a NFL line fluctuate that much unless it’s a major QB injury. Seems like the sharps are pounding Tennessee.

 

What does that mean?

 

I don't think I would touch this game, it could go either way, I would bet the over of 50 1/2.

 

It means the Steelers went from being the favorite to the underdog.

I’m ok with that.

 

It's a pretty big move because the home team usually gets 3, correct? Although maybe that's changed with few, if any, fans in the stands.

 

the line moved in favor of the browns as the week went on last week too.. they were never favorites, but money still poured into them. we all know how that turned out. at the end of the day, both teams are really good.. could go either way.

 

It means when Vegas put out an initial line they said the Steelers were minus 2.5 points. Meaning the Steelers need to win by 3 or more if you bet them. The line since has flipped to Titans-1 so if you took the Steelers they would have to only win outright or push if they lost by 1.

What it really means is a lot of money came in on Tennessee and Vegas had to adjust the line dramatically.

 

Home team usually gets 3 correct but I’m also not sure if that’s the same do to Covid? To think of it on a Neutral field the line would have been Steelers -5.5 to start and now it’s Steelers -2.

 

The original bet probably had something to do with TN and the possibility of Covid rearing its ugly head. As the week progressed, and the likelihood of positives dwindled, the team became more attractive to betters.

It's actually the Schrodinger equation. But your logic here is flawed because the Laplacian operator is a function on the Euclidean space. As everyone knows, money line or point spread bets are tracked on the horizontal plane, obviously with no arc. It's almost comical to think of applying Planck's constant in the Schrodinger equation along a straight line instead of a tangential axis.

If I still bet I'd put a large sum on the Titans. When I did bet games I won the most betting the Steeler games. Win or lose. The other games stole all my winnings so I gave up.
