I watched it a number of times and can't understand why Haden was soooooo far out of position?

Haden is one of my favorite players but he is hit or miss this year, often being waaaaaay out of position. And I no longer think it's scheme that's causing it.

He's a traditional man corner imo. Other play he got burned on was zone. He was suppose to run straight back and be over the top for Minkah. He's better in man. Zone his corner instincts kick in and he's eyeing the QB and wants to go make a play on the ball instead of guarding his area no matter what.

I really think the scheme changed for the Browns. There was more disguise and more attack. Our secondary looked more aggressive against the Browns than any other team so far. That means we're going to guess wrong and get burned at times. I'll take that over getting beat play after play after play. This change flipped our 3rd down efficiency on defense. And besides, Joe can't get called for PI if he's 20 yards from the nearest receiver. Well, he probably will anyway, but you know what I mean.

Players make mistakes. It happens. I am sure he will hear about it from the coaches.

    Simple; miscommunication.

Nothing more to it than that. Here in lies the issue. Miscommunication has been a concern since Week 1. Granted, Sunday was their best showing of the whole season but there is still major concern there.

For that matter, it is now becoming more and more of an issue. I really hope this issue can be corrected soon. Tennessee has plenty of weapons that can cause major damage.

Didn’t the score happen just after Bush went out?

The D wasn’t in sync yet.

This obviously some kinda of joke tongue in cheek thread right. Nobody is foolish enough and anal enough to druch up a complaint on Sundays game. When the Steelers defense was nearly perfect. Theres a reason why shut outs are nearly impossible because you cant expect a defense to be perfect the entire game. Youguys are really reaching its pretty pathetic.

No one is reaching about this topic. My point about the miscommunication is not just a problem, it has been an issue thus far this season dating back to Week 1. The breakdowns keep happening in situations that should be relatively simple to defend against.

The only one reaching here is you given your lack of understanding about the fact. No one here stated Pittsburgh needed to shut out Cleveland. If anything, you assumed I did due to the fact that my critique was taking aim about the team being unable to shut an opponent out; not even being the case to begin with. The whole aspect of my critique is to point out what has been an all too common occurrence.

Long story short?! Read the comments section of the thread before assuming something like that. For that matter, take the time to. You clearly did not and, instead of adding meaningful substance to the discussion, elect to obtain a rise out of people.

Maybe that's the point. Analyzing anything beyond win or lose may be a reach for some?
