Thanx, Jim.. took the pressure off me...
Was trying to come up with something clever about Peyton being afraid of toaster ovens, and we should start a campaign to have them mass delivered to every stadium he plays in from here on out... but..
Wait... Damn, Guess I`m just still not feeling "funny"... That last second loss still hurts too bad...
Is there sumkinda support group for Steeler fanatics that are let down when their team loses?
Ohhh... wait... The Steelersfans.com??? I`m hearin voices again...
But some of them are WAAAY too negative to be coming from my head...
I think the monkeys are flying with propaganda megaphones screaming about the sky falling!!!

Thanks for the effort. I understand. I might spend some time contemplating Peyton's possible toasterphobia, but essentially I'm gonna hang around here for awhile among these cheerier topics.

On the bright side...now we don't have the pressure that comes with going undeafeted! We can now win out the rest of the season without pressure.

Well - that's what I said to my son the other day as well. No worries about beating Miami's record. My biggest worry is that some future opponent will have a scout looking at this thread and fill the bench with toasters before gametime some Sunday. Then there's no WAY we win out. Pressure or no pressure.

Oh that's a good point about no more pressure to go undefeated.

Who cares about undefeated? It's very overrated. I'd rather rid the world of toasters, flying monkeys and peanut butter (well - at least the first two) than worry about whether or not my 15-0 team is going to go 16-0. Give me 12-4 and a division championship anytime.

Sometimes it's the losses that make a team start to focus on what is important - like "Did I make sure to turn off the toaster before I left this morning?" or - "Did I lock the monkey's cage?" These are the important questions in life and when you're worried about preserving an undefeated season, mistakes happen. Toasters are left on. Monkeys escape.

And you make it thru the un-important portion of the season un-defeated, by cheating, only to have some lowly team like the Giants, beat you in the only game that really matters... ;)...
Guess that team was focusing on details, like, did they erase all the tapes, etc...
OOOps.... Did I make this "football related" again?!?!
Sorry... Old habits die hard, and I forgot which fantasy world I was in at the moment...
I`ll try to work on that... really...
I think talking to another used car salesman for another 4 hours of BullCrap, might, make me go try to find some flying monkeys, that make more sense than he did...!!! LOL... :frustrated: :roflmao:
    :yeehaw: :herewego:
P.s. And if we are starting a crusade to rid the world of things...
Used Car Salesmen, are right near the top of my list, along with Lawyers, and Politicians...
In no particular order... of course... :swordsman: :superman:

Hmmmmmm I thought that Liars, Monkeys and Politicians were all the same thing. Go figure.

Actually, I used to be a used car salesman until I ran out of ways to make someone else's junk look appealing to someone else.

O.K. After THAT piece of crap loss - it's time to re-ignite THIS thread for the next 2 weeks. Ugggh - it's tough to go into the bye week with an ugly loss.

Welcome to the support group for those with toaster fears. It's a cool place to come for a little levity until the Steeler thread calms down...

Even though.... as we have been claiming ... this thread is about NOTHING but STEELER FOOTBALL!

Speaking of toast... I think DL could use some flying monkeys on defense!

Yeah - and maybe Antonio Brown could use some of the flying monkey sh*t to help stick the ball to his hands. He came dangerously close to NOT recovering the one in the endzone.

Maybe he doesn't respect or fear the toaster, or atleast the toast. I'm thinking he had toast with butter and it left his hands slippery. AB...lesson learned bud! We don't publicly fund these support groups for nothing...ask Mel!!!

As long as the toast is prepared in a TOASTER OVEN.

NO MORE TOASTERS! NO MORE TOASTERS!

I was thinking we better ban butter while we are at it. Maybe ban the team from using an substance that has a less then Grip'em effect!

SweeeT!!!!.... You must have one of those "show quality" rides!!! :rawk:
Clean enuff to eat off of, and all that... or ya just don`t care...
That which doesn`t kill me, only makes me stronger... :superman:
If gas wasn`t so expensive, we could save some money on propane, by tailgating, and having your exhaust heat up the brawts, and burgers!!! :lolol:
If you just used an ethanol blend, you could infuse the burgers with a corn flavor... :good: :roflmao: :herewego: :yeehaw:

Not a bad idea - but putting the bread in a regular oven on a rack does just as well if you don't have a toaster oven.

My wife found the Steelers toaster in a catalog and suggested I get it. I said, "NO WAY!!"

O.K. Time to get away from the Steelers thread for another 10 days. I think I fear that thread more than TOASTERS after a Steelers loss. Heck - if it would help, I'll even BUY myself a toaster and become its friend.

Anyone up for some toaster talk, rather than all the sh*t that's going on in the Steelers thread?

The toaster burned my red plaid potholder. I know I shouldn't have rested it on top of the toaster but I think that was mean.

My girlfriend found the toasters that will "burn" your team logo onto your bread, in some catalog...
And I said... "Hell yeah, I would like one of those!!"
I ain`t scared of toasters, or any other team in the league!!! :yeehaw:
... Seriously... she has no idea about this thread, but honestly just found these toasters in some christmas shopping catalog last week... I had seen them before, never gave them a second thought.. but now... I think I need one, to overcome the "fear"... too funny!!! :herewego!:
