I don't know why Hampton is still starting all he does is get stood up at the line of scrimmage, replace him with McClendon at least he has shown he can push the pocket. Kiesel bench him hasn't made a play yet Heyward has the only sack by a d-lineman, he got in only on 5 snaps against the Raiders that's needs to change. I know in the 3/4 defense the defensive ends aren't going to get alot of sacks but they need to make plays once in awhile in the backfield some tackles for loss would be nice.

McClendon gets pushed around to easy in the middle.....but I do agree he should be seeing a little more time.....and honestly I would find a way to dress Ta'amu as well.. get him a handful of snaps..if nothing else in goal line situations....Hampton and Ta'amu side by side is should be pretty immovable.

McClendon moved the line in the preseason, but has yet to do it this year. the reason Da beard has been a non-factor is because he is drawing a double team every play. Why you ask? because no team in the league is worried about the blitzing ability of Worilds or Chris Carter. If we can get Harrison on the field, you will see an immediate uptick in Deisel's performance. Hell, he had over 40 QB pressures last year.

I think our D is going to be less effective for a few years until we fully reload. We have rolled with the same starters for almost a decade. That kind of consistency is going to catch up with you when they all get old at the same time. I do agree they need to get Heyward on the field. I can't figure out how Ziggy is starting over him

I think we would be a lot better if our secondary has some different peeps. Keep clark, troy, ike but mundy, lewis, allen isnt working. I wonder if we would be better back there if we still had (gulp) willy gay?

No, Gay is not the answer. He got torched yesterday big, as he used to when he was with us (or probably uglier)...

I see us reloading next year in Free Agency. Kiesel, Harrison,Hampton (possibly Ike Taylor being let go to free up cap space), and If Mike Wallace doesn't sign, this leaves us with a lot money to fix and fill the defense with some quality.

i didn't see him get burnt at all in that? i saw him make a great block to spring the guy on the int. return.

it's time to put casey on the bench. wiesnewski owned him all day. he was the cutback point.

i would like to see worilds teamed with timmons in the middle. i think we could get pressure in the face of the qb that way. timmons could remain in coverage and worilds could thump. rotate carter and robinson and johnson at OLB opposite woodley. mclendon and Moo at the nose. keep the rotation with heyward and woods at DE but more of it. sylvester and foote can rotate in at LB. get vandyke some field time too. give ike a break from time to time. get these young fast guys on the field. brown, vandyke, allen and golden. let the vets get a rest from time to time. i don't think they are playing our fast young players near enough. mix up some combo's.
