That penalty on Claypool was such a terrible call and completely changed the outlook of that game. Credit to the Steelers for rolling with the punches and getting it done.

It looked like we got some calls our way early and the Eagles got some calls their way late.

I can see why Tomlin brought in refs to the practice. These calls are all over the place week to week.

I have no idea what is or isn't a PI at this point.

 

Should have won this game easily.. nothing is a gimmie with this team

 

Aka we are winning the games that we are supposed to win.

 

To be fair, as bad as the defense was, the fake penalties and missed calls cost Pittsburgh big and kept multiple drives alive for the Eagles. Pittsburgh probably should have won at least 45-29.

 

Steelers were obviously the better team, but the offense is underrated and the defense is overrated.

 

I thought they made a rule lst year where you could challenge a penality , and if you lost the challenge you lost a timeout... if so why didnt Tomlin challenge the Claypool TD ?

Glad to contribute my negativity. And the negativity is justified. Steelers should have won this game by 3 scores, just as I said in weekly prediction thread, but yet...we were all sh!ting our pants in the 4th quarter. As usual...my prophecy is reality.

 

Who here honestly thought the Steelers where gona win by 3 scores,... i had them winning by 11 and they won by 9 .. so your prophecy is lol

 

They got rid of that rule of challenging PI

 

Let me help you. If Joe Haden is in the stadium and moves during a play, it's PI. If he comes out of the tunnel next to an offensive player, it's PI. If Chase Claypool nearly breaks a DB's ankle on a comeback, it's PI.

The rule is gone. It was an overreaction based on a bad no call. The rule was a one season failure. They probably wouldn't had over turned the call that was made on the field anyway.

 

I was being facetious. Didn't think it needed green font because it was so ridiculous, and because of the goofy faced emoji.
