Big Ben usually uses “Blue 80” as the indicator during the count, but in the last game I thought I heard him use “codefendant”. Was I imagining things? Did anyone else hear that? Does it have any significance, was he taunting one of the Titans defenders?

Not sure about that call, but historically the Bengals have had a slew of defendants.

After Peyton Manning started yelling 'Omaha" the NFL Network had a little show on different things the QB yells out on a snap count. Really didn't pay it much attention but a few QB's honored family members with a shout out a few times.

He was saying "codependent" because TJ and Derek have to keep propping up JJ when he gets injured. That was a pass play and Ben wanted more protection on the right side of the line. ;)

What's weird is our high school team used Blue 80 to audible. I also use Blue 80 when I am teaching flag football to my students. Rumor has it that Viagra was going to be called Blue 80.

Didn’t someone use “Oprah” to mock Peyton?

Yeah, Mrs. Carmichael. She's the safest driver in Peytonville, but kind of a *****.

Maybe. I just wish he would change it up a bit. Seems like Defenses can time it very easily.

Actually, he does say "blue 80 blue 80 set hut" and just "blue 80 set hut" sometimes. Just guessing, but I figure he goes on the short count a few times in a row to see if they're timing it, then he uses the longer count to pull them offsides.

Aaron Rodgers used "New York Bozo" at one point awhile back. It was said to pay homage to Goodell, but unconfirmed.
