Major disadvantage for the Steelers to move bye week and reschedule. This will not be the last team this will happen to and the league needs to to make a ruling on this. IMO a team should need to forfeit if they cannot field a team, but this also exposes the incoming team to possible infection.

I just don't see any possible way this game happens on Sunday.

I'm shocked it took this long. I figured the teams were hiding the positives.

We basically have 1 game of wiggle room. I'm sure the Vikings will also have positives now. Dealing with 1 lost game is no big deal... but you know more are coming. What do they do then? Extend the season for make up games?

I thought covid roster flux would have been handled by the increased practice squad size and veteran limits?

it would be moronic to play. The tests aren't that accurate to confidently eliminate the positives from playing.

I'm 100% against postponing. It makes the Steelers bye week the 4th of the year, but more importantly what hapoens when a team gets 4 positives week 13 after all bye weeks are over?

You play with who is healthy and eligible on gameday.

The 3rd week was the big test IMO, normally takes 2 weeks to show.

These won’t be the last two teams that have outbreaks this week i bet.

Game will be rescheduled but this is a grim development that puts the rest of the season in jeopardy.

Yep it’s not fair for the Steelers to move their schedule around because the Titans ****ed up. Either forfeit or force them to play without practicing. The Steelers shouldn’t have to play 13 games in a row it’s not fair.

What about this, they could push the Steelers game to Monday night. If they let the Titans back in the facility on Saturday, they can practice Sat, Sun and play Monday. They do it on a short week for Thursday games, no practice Monday, practice Tuesday and Wednesday, play Thursday.

Not fair again I’m not moving My schedule around for this if I’m the Steelers. It’s the Titans issue and they should have to deal with it period. If that means forfeiting or playing without practicing this week then so be it. This Steelers team is good enough to win the Super Bowl this season and I’m not moving my schedule around and playing 13 weeks in a row. This is the Titans problem and they should have to deal with the consequences whatever they may be.

I hope this doesn't mess with a week 8 bye week, rather have that in the dead middle as opposed to having to take it week 4.

Plus I hate that this messes with mojo, stringing 3 wins together and not having an upcoming game, doesn't seem like a good thing.

I'm more concerned with our players getting exposed if they play.

If 8 Titans have it, there's no way there aren't more coming.

I don't know how prepared the titans will be. And, I don't want our guys being in harms way. But, if you noticed the verbiage. The article said 3 NEW players and 5 New team personnel ... wow! I don't know guys and gals.

Not playing this game is the responsible thing to do. Sucks, but it's the right call IMO. Remember these players do have families, and the NFL does need to do what it can to assure the players safety. The chance of death is very low. But it would only take one to be a tragedy that the league would never live down.

This sucks for the Steelers. We have all the momentum in the world right now. A week off is the last thing this team needs.

I suspect the bigger issue is they are playing it safe with the rest of the organization. It takes some time for the disease to express itself... you want to give it a few days before running a test to be sure... in the meantime they've gotta isolate.

I imagine there will be folks out there (not suggesting they're on the message board... no idea) that will be shrieking about "cancel culture" but this is serious ****. I'm grateful the NFL tried to set up tough but reasonable protocols... hope it's enough!

I say we ask the league to swap in the Ravens for Sunday :-D

I'm sure whatever network that got stuck with the Ravens/"Football Team" show would like that ;-)

I thought the covid-19 protocol was 14 days quarantine ... nationwide. I work for two different Healthcare facilities and that's the protocol for a positive test

You'd have to have three. The Vikings are in the same boat as the Titans, because Titans played there last week. Could be like Thanksgiving in October.

You can't have multiple players on a team test positive and say that the rest of the team hasn't been exposed...... The schedule needs to be flexed..... I can't see this game happening until later in the season
