Yeah. The same thought has crossed my mind. Right now the Chiefs look unbeatable, but things change as the season progresses. If our offense can take it to the next level and hold it there, we have a chance even against them.

If Taylor Lewan and AJ Brown doesn't play for the Titans, advantage Steelers.

Titans defense is what I'm worried about. I think our defense holds them to 20.

Titans defense is not what it was last year. Their ranked 29th in yds allowed, 29th in rushing d, and 23rd passing. They only have 4 sacks and are giving up a 94.4 passer rating. And, like us, they haven't faced the most impressive array of qbs.

Loved how fat Andy designs and call his plays. He probably is the best at it in the NFL. He did have the Ravens on their heals.

That shovel pass for the TD was awesome! I think it was the result of the Ravens favoring outside containment too much in an effort to control MaHomes roll-out prowess.

If the Titans are unable to play this Sunday, the Steelers remain undefeated for another week :clapping:.

So If they don't play this is going to end up screwing their mid season bye week up methinks. That would suck.

This could be just the first Steeler game affected by Covid. Wonder if the Titan players that are testing positive saw the field last Sunday. Do the Vikings shut down now?

We are going to be underdogs to any team with a good QB. Our secondary is struggling against really bad offenses. The only thing keeping us from giving up a ton of points in the air is our pass rush.

I think the coaches know we have secondary issues otherwise we wouldn't be blitzing on every passing down. We still have no ability to cover the middle of the field. It's obviously a weakness to the scheme we play. Both of our safeties were 1st round picks and now have 3 years of experience. Bush is one of the fastest ILB's in the league. There's no other explanation other than it's a coaching/system issue.

Don't most teams bring up a safety when they can't stop that? Does Edmunds suck? Are our corners so bad that our safeties need to focus on covering their issues? Every offense we play has no issue clearing out the middle of the field to get wide open WR's and TE's . I consistently see our safeties and LB's getting suckered into the LOS or another route only to get beat over the middle 10-15 yards deep. They know it's coming but they do it anyway...every single game. Good QB's read this with ease and exploit it.

True, but I don't like games getting delayed, Steelers are starting to roll. Plus we don't get to watch them.

Honestly it can be a number of issues regarding coverage. DeShaun Watsons performance is just merely a showcasing of our coverage limitations. That said, I do not think the answer is so simple.

Some want Minkah to patrol the middle of the field more. That would be great!!..... expect Steven Neslon bought into his own hype. Never mind Nelson, Joe Haden is not getting any younger either as more speedsters await him this season. Expect Offensive Coordinators to challenge him in that area and I am not simply talking about go routes.

Regarding both Bush and Edmunds, that is where some of the problems lie. Bush did take some positive steps against Darren Fells but, assuming next week's matchup is not canceled, Jonny Smith will be another big challenge for Bush. As for Edmunds, according to Pro Football Reference, he has given up 10 completions on 16 targets, resulting in a 62.5% completion percentage. Here in lies the kicker; zero touchdowns given up. As for Bush, he has given up 75% of his completions; 12 for 16. Again though, the biggest problem is the amount of touchdowns given up; one.

That said, let us all not forget Keith Butler's role in this. If you are going to use the "DIME" Position, please use the correct personnel. Stop putting Vince Williams in coverage! That is not his strongest suit! Never has been and never will be.

So, long story short?! The players have to play better no doubt. That said, the Defensive Coaching has to place the correct personnel in the best situations to win.
