Watching the Seahawks game now. Why is their crowd noise so much louder than ours? Come on Mr. Rooney, invest in some major league amplifiers and crank it up to 11!

That is not their noise I think. I think that is FOX Sports.

Going into the season, I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about watching games with no fans.

I can honestly say it has had zero affect on me. I’m hardly aware of it.

    Now baseball, that’s freaking weird.

    Hey Blast.

Bingo! As I have said, as well as others, appreciate Ben with what time we have left. Could be a year, maybe two, maybe longer. I have no clue. Good things do come to an end as the saying goes. I really do think most people appreciate Ben. I remember his rookie year. After work, I would watch sports' TV and he was constantly on there. He was the talk of the league. It does and it doesn't seem like so long ago.

Those of us old enough to remember that time gap between Terry Bradshaw and Ben Roethlisberger. Yes, there were some good times but they did not last long. Too bad we did not draft Dan Marino. Man, we really would have been spoiled I believe. Just imagine: TB>DM>BR. As the saying goes: "No break in service." I believe that Dan Marino would have gotten us one or more rings. Okay, time for me to focus on the present. We got the win. We need to clean up some things and take care of business next week.

    Take care.

exactly, don't see everyone's fascination with DJ. i think he's a middling receiver. I'd rather Ben throw it to Claypool or CS13.

Someone pointed out during the game, and it might have been in reference to that ill-advised fair catch, that he seems to lack focus at times, and I agree. I think we can all agree that at the pro level, you have to be 100% invested mind, body and soul every second you're on the field. I think the kid has the tools, he just needs to hone his craft and stay invested.

Sadly I cannot relate regarding Baseball. Not much of a fan. That said, I do agree with the amplified noise via the broadcasts for the NFL.

Does not make too much of a difference for me.

i just don't agree with the amount of targets he gets, but that is nitpicking since we are winning. i just don't see anything uncanny about him. i hope he performs for sure, but I will try to be a non-partisan fan until he proves me utterly wrong. I'm still on the fence, but leaning towards the opposite of most of you. Not a biggie, jm take.

Probably because DJ is their best WR in the open field, he makes me nervous when he has the ball, his ball security needs to improve.

Actually he’s seldom under center. Mostly shotgun.

This. He was lucky not to fumble on the play he was injured.

He gets targeted so much because he gets open, he’s one of the tops in the league at gaining separation.

I still think he is a star in the making.

never liked the draft pick and hasn't done much to turn ME. i ain't sheet that's for sure... i just don't see it with this guy. Its a frivolous argument I know, and I'm obviously not rooting against him, I'm just indifferent to his impact.

perhaps....not worth arguing over, as there are other issues. He's a talent, just not the be-all-end-all for me. I'd rather see half his targets go to CS13 or CC11.

I can see his potential, but he's not quite there yet.(which is to be expected at this point).

He blew the coverage at least twice that I noticed. The play that it seemed Williams was alone on a receiver early, you could see he was supposed to have help deep from Edmunds. Of course, Edmunds was out of position and the Steelers were lucky it wasn't a touchdown.

It was interesting reading the thread after watching the entire game, especially the posters during the first half seeming to take way too much pleasure from reminding us all that they predicted a loss today. They should all come back and admit their errors now.

The secondary does look shaky, but a big part of the problem in the first half was Watson having too much time. Sometimes, it was him scrambling around to buy time. Just as often, the Steelers simply weren't getting enough pressure. I noticed they had a spy on him a few times early, but got more aggressive in the second half, and that seemed to work.
