Yes, you got it right with “constructive criticism”. Absolutely. Voicing an opinion is okay. However, back it up with something of substance. The broad brushing: “He stinks”,” they stink” and on and on is shallow, hollow. Nothing but non-productive whining and complaining.

Sure, one can come here to vent and that is okay too if it makes you feel better. Shout it to the mountain top. You are amongst friends here (except for the occasional troll). However, do not get upset if you are looking for a “bashing party” and end up standing by yourself in a lonely room.

Me, I like to back up my posts with something concrete. Something tangible. Something that will generate quality dialogue. Now, when this is done, more than likely you will get a chain reaction of conversation. Something that may upturn a stone for you and provide you with some answers to that which you are upset about. Just a suggestion.

People want to have civil discourse pro or con, that's fine. But certain of the ones that you mention in your first sentence are just as aggressive in defending HCMT as those that are way over the top weekly in their disdain/hatred for him. I'm not one of the later, not by a long shot. However, I always thought discussing coaching concerns was just as valid as discussing individual performances, the draft and injuries.

Ben has to take blame on some of those. He has some pretty bad duds

 

Bens post game presser he shouldered all of the blame. Said he played bad but was just happy to get the win. He praised all of his receivers and said they made him look good.

 

Sorry I worded it wrong. Posters who criticize only tomlin should also criticize Ben as well. That’s what I meant. Tomlin does have some head scratchers though lol

Yeah, he owned the pick. Said he needed to trust his receivers and that JuJu ran a great route. Other than that I thought he actually played pretty well. The TD pass to DJ was vintage Ben.

 

Yeah Ben has been playing well. 5 tds 1 pick and 100+ rating.

Those 72 Fins were lucky the Steelers were not a year older. I know they beat us in the Playoffs that year 21-17. When I looked it up it said the Conference final was in Pittsburgh. How was that possible if they had best record??????? Unless it is a mistake.

You are suppose to complain about your team. I would not let anyone else that is not a fan do that. But this is what fans do. Sometimes it makes sense, sometime it doesn't.

My biggest gripe is they inability to be aggressive on offense after getting a lead.
