Guys like Vince Williams show there is still hope for the NFL, unlike their NBA.

 

Not even just Vince. Pouncey, Tuitt, Minkah, Al, and even Tomlin have all have made statements that can be pretty unpopular right now. It seems to me that the Pittsburgh Steelers just want to play football. I give Tomlin a ton of credit for that. I still question some of Mike Tomlin's in game coaching, but as a leader of men.....you just can not find a better one.

 

Good on Vince! Let's hope his attitude of "just play football" becomes infectious.

I don't feed into any of the hoopla, I just want to watch the game, and will do just that. Because to me that's all it is about.

Also being a white person I haven't walked in others shoes, so I try to understand rather then being understood.

 

What if they held up a sign during anthem saying "Bigbenhotness is a horrible poster" ? I'd have to boycott that.

 

Sadly most people are not going to bother clicking on a post that headlines "Vince Williams gives out 500 laptops, 150 chrome books, etc..."

Leave it to Vince to cut through the b.s. and tell it like it is while backing up his words with actions. Blunt and to the point like he plays. Reasons why we love Vince.

 

Not the world we live in, I say get used to it...90% of the players have a different experience living in this country than you do...

I get it but the NFL is to blame for injecting special interest into the game. They began this years ago trying to appeal to various segments of society, including the Armed Forces. I'm an Air Force Vet, so I'm pro military.

 

Well, the part of his statement that resonates is that Vince isn't just talking, he's doing.

 

You know what's even worse? We live in the headline age. Nobody reads articles anymore, they just read headlines, because reading an article takes too long and is too much work. So the conclusion that SJW's will likely take from that article is that Vince is against BLM, is a racist and does nothing to help his community.

The internet has given everyone so much potential, and it's just being wasted
