Gray promoted from practice squad. Don’t feel good about our o-line this year. Or for the next few years for that matter.

    Is Wizneaki related to Wisniewski?

Placed on IR but doesn't seem to be out for the season. Hope he will be back in a month. Worried about DeCastro's lack of progress.

Yeah, I’ve found beer doesn’t go well with posting. Although, that was just based on a friend.

Steelers put a bunch of money into the O-line several years ago. They had a really good O-line for several years, but the defense was not good. Now the defense it very good but the O-line’s wheels are falling off before out eyes. I guess the flip side of getting everyone good at the same time is that they all wear out at the same time. I look for the Steelers to try to put together a functional line by signing free agents and raiding other teams practice squads. Takes a while for them to learn to play as a unit, which is so beautiful to watch if it is achieved.

I think that a year from now this O-line will have a completely different look. How long will Pouncey and Big Al last?

B.J. Finney would be handy about now.

I was worried that the line was a little thin going in. But I sure thought we would make it past week 2 without having to make whole-scale changes. Hopefully Dotson steps up big time.

On the bright side, he doesn't need surgery and is eligible to return in 3 weeks.

Finney has been a flop in Seattle. Was supposed to replace Justin Britt, he not only lost the starting Center Job, but barely made the 53 man roster. 2 years 8 million 4.5mil would have been guaranteed if they did cut him.

They kept Finney because of the cost in dead cap space it would have created this year; not sure what it would cost them in a trade.

I know that the guy Finney was supposed to replace,Justin Britt, is out there currently trying out with a few teams. 2019 week 8 torn ACL

The year Ben got sacked like 10 times in a game against the Eagles was a year our O-line was a joke in the NFL. Ben was on his ass a lot that year but the thing I remember most was Ben sticking up for them as he was hoisting the Super Bowl trophy.
