Sad for him not to know. but he did man up and we won the game ..This type of character as a leader has true value IMO...He could have easily passed the buck , but that's not what real men do...

Decisions I can say were 100% Tomlin decisions....

    1) Give Cortez Allen, Kennan Lewis's money when he left. He was a Tomlin guy and probably his worst decision. Cortez Allen stole like 30 million from the Steelers. Didn't even see the field for like 2 years after his contract because he was so bad.

    2) Mike Vick. Pretty worthless and pissed off dog lovers.

    3) Sean Davis, bust.

    4) Mason Rudolph, bust.

    5) Terrell Edmunds, looking like a bust.

Not a very good track record. I think Artie Burns was as well but I can't say for sure like the other horrible decisions above.

No Kidding. Just the pay difference alone from sitting on a couch to standing on the sideline has to be huge for those players on the bubble.

Wasn't there a story out there that Tomlin wanted Lamar Jackson and was overruled? I am not sure why you think you know these things with 100% certainty. It is absurd unless you worked with the Steelers when those decisions were made.

    51 years and only 3 HC's.

    Chuck Noll: 209-156-1 23 years
    Bill Cowher: 161-99-1 15 years
    Mike Tomlin: 142-80-1 14 years

We have been one hell of a great organization. Too bad we didn't have all this social media for the last 50 years. It would have been interesting to see how many times Noll and Cowher got called out for bad ****.

I'm harder than ANYBODY on here about Tomlin but, If you're gonna bring up these guys, Then you have to also bring up Watt, Heyward, Tuiit,DeCastro, Johnson, JuJu, Bush, Pouncey on and on...We have done VERY well in that aspect!

    I just don't think he can Coach!:drinks:

    1) Mike Vick is from VA and it's on record Tomlin advocated for the Steelers to give him a chance.

    2) Davis from VA and played in Maryland. Obvious Tomlin pick.

    3) Rudolph. It's on record Tomlin really liked him in the scouting process of James Washington. They've pretty much said he was a Tomlin pick.

    4) Edmunds is from VA. Obvious Tomlin pick.

You notice the huge spike in VA/MD players under Tomlin where he's from and his son goes to school.

If Tomlin has so much control over drafting, what happened with guys like Watt, JuJu, DeCastro, etc.? Was he away from the war room taking big, steamy dumps when those pick cards got sent in?

Of course he has a say. But there's a difference in yeah, I like this player a lot lets get him vs. advocating and pushing for players. The players I mentioned are players I never see us getting if Tomlin wasn't here aka Tomlin guys.

I tried to respond to your AV thread but the mods are quick today. What I wanted to know was where was your rage when Peezy tried to split the locker room? Was you on top of that & I just missed it? The AV stuff doesn't really hold water.

Edit: Happened under Tomlin's watch!

How dare Tomlin take accountability for a mistake. I hope the Steelers fire him immediately.

Tomlin needs to STFU and coach. More action, less words.

Very commendable to take responsibility for it. The issue is when you have months to get ready for this game how does it happen? Monday night game too. All he had to do was look at the rosters for the Sunday games and see how many players every other team in the league had. Something very small but explains why we have bigger issues imo.
