my fault,I lost my original Terrible Towel that I got when I went to my first game at the blast furnace (Three River Stadium) back in '98 '99or'00 we beat bmo,Kordel was at the helm, the Bus was out with leg injury,DPerry intercepted a pass late in 4th quater to preserve the win.I had my TT on the back of my electric wheelchair and I lost it when I went down to the court house.I should have replaced it prior to the season starting, was hoping to get it from the stadium in person, times are rough on people with good jobs, this disability check crap is hard to get use to,so the chances of me seeing a game in person is slim to none and slim left town.I looked up the prices of the tickets I was getting for free sect 234,one level up,on the 50 yd. line, ouch, not in my budget.I will have another by week 5,promise

I was going to question my rituals, at this point, but, thank God, va.steel you bailed me out. Now I don't have to blame myself! As a matter of fact, I can now go out on a limb and say that my rituals are the only thing that kept us in the game. Your welcome!!!

I think I remember a thread like this popping up last year after a loss. It is good to be able to admit where we have ALL failed in this 1-2 start. People can blame the defense, the offense, the coaches, the refs, the weather, or anything else for the failure of the team to be undefeated at this point. So, in the spirit of accountability and with the determination to do better, I will admit that I, too, had a role in this start.

At the beginning of the season, I usually pick one piece of Steeler apparel and wear it every weekend - not even washing it. So, this year I decided on my "Steeler domiNATION" T-shirt. Well - I forgot to inform my wife that it was not to be washed - and - well - she put it in the laundry. Even worse - I recently came across my Super Bowl XIV sweatshirt and wore that on Sunday instead. I cannot believe that I caused this start by not adhering to my usual rituals. I'll make sure to right the ship during the bye week so that things get turned around quickly. October 7 it's a new season. I'll make sure to get off to a good start.

I promise it won't happen again.

Alright guys, I'm really sorry but I didn't have a choice. I had to work while the game was on and didn't get to see any of it. This is all my fault. If you need someone to blame, blame me. I should have told my boss to fudge himself but the money was too tempting. Please forgive me

If all it takes to turn this defense around and win some games is for you to have a terrible towel, I ll put one in the dang mail tomorrow. Heck, I m sure I could get up enough donations to get you a friggin case of them.

And its my wife's fault this week, mine the first week. I didnt put my jersey on for Denver, she cooked chicken and fed me during the game this past Sunday. BOTH are big 'no no's.

Well - not many stepping up to admit their roll yet in this bad start, but it's good to see that there are SOME who will admit that this is a TEAM issue. It's not just about the offense, defense, or coaching decisions. We're ALL involved. Steeler Nation is a family - and when we're down - we all have to look for ways we can step up our game.

O.k., O.k, From here on it`s back to Yuengling, ONLY, on gamedays.... Cost be damned!!! :hehehe:
And, I WILL go back to yelling and screaming at the tv, in the front room, instead of walking outside to punch the shed, no matter how bad it pisses my girl off!! :-D :herewego: :towel: :yeehaw:
