That was a big no call by the refs when the Raiders lb cheapshot him hitting around the ankles after the pass was thrown. Even a rookie qb Russell Wilson got that same call on MNF, if it was Tom Brady it's a automatic flag he's the reason they started that rule.

Anyone think that was a big act on Ben's part?
Illegal by the book I agree, but the guy did not hit him very hard at all.
For the way he was rolling around holding it, it sure healed nicely in two plays to be able to scramble for the Wallace TD.

He just took a page out of Brady's book. Brady gets that call every time.

Ben has never gotten those calls. his size and ability to get away from defenders has almost given defenders a free shot at Ben. the refs allow more hits on Ben probably because they know he gets out of tackles so often, but that shouldnt be an excuse to not call a roughing the passer when its abvious.

hell he got smashed in the face in the ravens game last year and there was no flag.

Yeah it was a blown call. Nothing new. The Russell Wilson flag wasnt the same thing at all though. The call on Wilson was completely bogus. It was a legal tackle. You can tackle the legs of a QB as long as you're not already on the ground. That bogus call helped Seattle win that game. If not for that call, there wouldn't have even been a Hail Mary play.
