    Here is the strange thing about Switzer. There were reports that DJ had missed several days with some sort of injury. Why would they cut Switzer rather than leave him on the 53 until you are sure your top 4 are healthy?

    Because literally having nobody as your 5th receiver is still better then having switzer as your 5th receiver

    I thought that was earlier in camp, but Johnson had been participating in the more recent workouts. It also seems that McLoud simply looked better than Switzer in practice.

    Glad Curtis Riley made it but I'm a sucker for a good safety prospect. Seems like he had a good camp from what I've read.

    Plus the vets make 12K a week on the PS, 48K a month is a pretty good gig....

    That makes sense. Why not have a guy who knows the system on hand in case there is an injury or illness?
