Official 2020 Board Fantasy League

Assuming we have a season, of course.

This thread is to check interest in having a league this year. I know it's an odd duck kind of year, so interest may not be usual.

If you are interested in playing this year, same old drill: post your interest in this thread. As always, it will be first ask, first invited. If we have enough interest, we'll have multiple leagues. Sometimes, we need to fill out an extra league, so if you'd like to be part of more than one league, say so in here also. Obviously, people without a league will get first crack before someone gets more than one league.

I have not set anything in stone yet. But I'm thinking live draft around 1 or 2 pm the Sunday before Labor Day. When you express interest, let me know if this works for you. If not, what would be good for you as close to this day or time as possible?

 

As always I’m in. I don’t know if the draft date/time will work for me, but if it doesn’t I’ll accept the results of the computer drafting for me.

 

I’m in for 1 league, possibly two if it’s needed but will depend if my other league plays or not.

Labor day weekend Sunday works for me. Earlier the better but I'll be able to make it work.

That was a crazy year. But it can make things very interesting and give an "Any given Sunday" feel to it. Your offense was mediocre? If your team defense goes off, you can still win. Your offense was stellar but your defense got blown out? You can easily lose. In our league, there's no such thing as a throwaway position, except maybe kicker. (Not my settings, BTW. But the scoring system used by a money league I've been playing in for 20 years. I won once. ONCE. )

Ok, looks like we have enough for the first league (12 teams). Expect invites soonish.

If enough people still want in, a second league will be created.

I have 2 people looking for another league so far. If I can get at least 10, I'll open one up.

 

Yes. You can play without the app. But I suggest using a PC if you're going to use the website. A phone may become cumbersome to deal with.

I hate to do it, but if you have not accepted by Monday night, I'll be forced to give those invites to others. We must have the league filled in time before the draft.
