    A field like that can handle about 40 events and be ok. As long as they are not heavy duty like a game in repetition. Without the High school games I think they will be fine. Actually better in November.

    Based on current weather they have to be watering the crap out of that field.

    Just saying everyone is on one field where at Latrobe they have multiple fields. Have they suspended the high school's from playing? Pitt will still play as of now. Resodding doesn't work well we have seen in the past.:cool:

    That’s sad for Artie. I hope he gets another opportunity, but it’s very possible that the league moves on from him.

    Well, if he's on injured reserve, he can't get outright released, so he still counts in the compensatory formula.

    That may help in terms of the calculation of player gains and losses, but I’m not sure that a 1 year, $1.05 million contract would net a pick. A 7th if anything.

    High schools will have to play elsewhere. The limit in ticket sales cuts their revenue. Head of WPIAL said they couldn’t even pay the electric bill for the lights.

    I believe they have redone the sod every year recently right after high school playoffs. They just schedule the Steelers away for an extra week at that time. Without high school, they may not have to.

    Dotson is on the field and in a jersey today, so that's a great sign. Doesn't appear to be anything on his knee.

    Good news about Dotson.

    Bad news for Artie. He did ok on special teams last year and is a former first rounder, albeit he was more than a bit of a reach. A lot of teams have horrible depth at corner. He will get another shot you would imagine.

    Yes...I really wanted this Guy, and still don't know why he dropped so much ..I still think/hope he's really gonna surprise and end up being a good OL for us!
