In the history of professional football, that accomplishment stands out as rare.

The Steeler fan side of me is thankful. The Steeler fan side of me also realizes how much more he could Have been.

It bothers me when people don’t do the best job they could have and they were paid for. Watch special olympics. There are people there with severe challenges, and yet they give it everything they have. I respect those people.

I have personally felt Ben was a self centered dirt ball from day one. I have said so from day one. It’s just that now he has further emphasized my point.

I hope he has a good season.

On a lighter note, I just heard a radio snippet with Ben commenting how coach Canada was brought in and being used to get more misdirection, etc.

Wilson has had a 100+ rating 5/8 years he’s been in the league. He’s great

hate to be late to this conversation, but Ben has 2 Conference game losses. Both to the Cheats.

Looks like I missed 2004, you are correct. One more divisional win & one more conference loss.

    Damn Patriots

Great at protecting the ball. Top tier qb? Haven't seen it myself.

Looked at his divisional losses groutbrook.

    Rodger's Packers 2019
Seattle one field goal in the first half. Seahawks playing from behind, clutch time. Russell 1td, 5 sacks

    Cam's Panthers 2015
That Panthers defense was good, Seattle shut out first half. Russell 3td 2int 5sacks
Answered the clutch bell but came up short.

    Twice to Ryan's Falcons

    His rookie year 2012
    Seattle shut out first half.
    Russell 2td 1int 1sack

    Falcons SB run 2016
    Russell didn't show up
    2tds 2int 3sacks 75rating

I forget what we were discussing exactly, who's better between Ben and R Wilson? My mind is getting lazy.

Let's see, started out with Ben being self absorbed. Evolved into the tier one QBs that are best in the league. I didn't agree with R. Wilson as a tier one qb. Back n forth on how great he is. Nobody has convinced me to change my mind & I haven't changed anyone's mind myself. I was questioned on my conclusions about his playoff performance in the divisional rounds of his playoff career. I provided an answer.

I went back and checked. You stated 'Wilson hasn't done much', I said that was wrong, and anyone who knows anything agreed with me. End of discussion.

I'm not even sure what he did with Lynch. I don't know his numbers, I don't care his numbers.
I know he's a really good quarterback. Top tier.

Ben balled against Denver, came up short.

He dug himself out of his hole against the Jags, came up short.

The last three years? Nothing, just a 5000 yard season & an elbow injury.

Nice deflection bbh. Now what has Russell done without Lynch other than going 3-4 in the playoffs & 0-3 against the better teams in the divisional round? One division title, can't produce an allpro receiver, stingy with the ball. In his prime to boot. Part of a 5 year rebuild? Don't put your money on Seattle after the wildcard round, just sayin.

Tier two qb, behind Watson & close to the old man, undedicated Ben.

If you’re going by that metric only
    Brady is tier 1 lol

    Naw.
    Tier 1 -
    Mahommes
Rodgers (gets it done exclusively, most of the time)
    Brees
Brady has moved to tier 2. I could be wrong, let's see what he does with Tampa.

Russell makes about as much as a difference as say
    K. Cousins
    D. Prescott
    M. Ryan
    D. Watson

    Tier 2 qb

Prescott is a tier 3 qb. Good stats with a line running game and WR but does not do well at all without one of those.

wilson is miles better than cousins, Ryan and Watson

Is he in the Mahommes, Rodgers, Brees tier?

No. Seattle's offense centered around Wilson is pedestrian.
    16th in 3rd down %
    23rd in sacks
    Russell likes having the ball.

Rogers is another head case and could be a problem. Don't have to worry about this anyway.

Cousins and Ryan, yes. Watson: I disagree. Watson has that leadership “it” factor. I think he has a championship in his future. I think Wilson is better, but not by much, and Watson is still developing. Just my 2 cents.
