    True...
    Also true:
Big Ben has only finished under .500 twice
2006 record 7-8 after motorcycle accident
2019 record 0-2 probably playing injured

Steelers have never finished under .500 with him on the roster. Came close 4 times in his 16 years
    2006 8-8
    2012 8-8
    2013 8-8
    2019 8-8

    Ride Tomlin ride

Is it unreasonable to expect Tomlin to be better than all the greats that have had losing (rebuilding) seasons? ;)

Good job!!!!!! The Pirates don't really surprise me. Under current ownership :puking:they would keep anyone who comes cheap for years and years.

 There is no rule to hire blacks over whites, there's a rule for minorities to get interviews, try again.

From 1918 to 2011, 93 seasons, Penn State had 5 Head Coaches, and one of them was around only 1 season. 92 seasons - 4 HCs, 24 seasons apiece. You won't see that happen again - in any sport, anywhere.

The rule was made because qualified minorities couldn't even get a interview, and retread coaches would get hired over and over duh .

look it up on Wikipedia. It is a form of affirmative action. Plain and simple. Forcing teams to interview not only for coaching but front office positions because they are a minority. So as I said why not players? 70% is a major difference. If it's about equality in hiring practices what's good for the goose is good for the gander is exactly right. So show me where I am wrong mr. Showboat.

So what you're saying is that until the league is 100% black, the bitching will continue?

Sounds about right.....but, I'll bet they would still *****

So.....while having some of the most talented teams in the history of the league, he finished with non-losing seasons 23% of the time.

Just put him in the HOF now!:hehehe:

Well if the owners didn't go by their ole boys network, and gave everybody a fair shot the Rooney Rule wouldn't be needed. Maybe you should google equal opportunity, if you don't think teams should have to interview everybody and not just the majority .

So you would rather him be a loser, and the team suffers for it, yeah that makes sense .

No, I would rather he does something with what he is given and while I'm at it, it would be nice if you made sense.

Yeah because it's all on one person, the players have nothing to do with it, when was the last time Ben played great in the playoffs without turning the ball over?

In Denver, without AB or Bell. He played great against Jacksonville after he pulled his head out of an orifice.

Yeah in Denver that scrub Toussaint fumbled killing the Steelers chances of winning, Ben 2 early turnovers against Jacksonville put them in a 2 TD hole, after that he played great the defense sucked though.

are you retarded? Where did I ever say something as stupid as you just claimed I said? Can you read? Wasn't I just talking about the minority? The 30% of white players. Aren't the rooneys owner's? As you said the owners good ole boys club. Aren't they the ones that have a 70- 30 split of black and white players?

Another thread about to sh!t the bed. Politics, race, social injustice, discrimination... not what I come here to "get educated" about from the worlds premier experts but what a lot of threads seem to be turning into.
