Since we always start slow and sloppy, maybe this situation helps even things out for us. Somehow though, I think Belicheat will find a way to make it an advantage for his team, but thank goodness they are not the biggest threat anymore.

I think with the stay 6 feet away rule some Steeler receivers will still have trouble getting open:)

Ahhhhh, the dichotomy of BB and MT:cool:

    1. One does anything and everything to get players to play his way and the other doesn't do ****, just let's the boys be the boys.
    2. One wins six super bowls in 17 years and the other wins one super bowl in 13 years with better talent.
    3. One hates anything but winning and one is okay with non-losing:cool:

    4. One is a compulsive cheater & one let's his players decide how far they want to go.

Belicheat has soiled the SB & all the great teams that have won one, even his own. I wonder if Lombardi was cheating? I doubt it, good people that guy.

I'd put a small stack of football cards underneath the playing field against the vibrating chinga to buffer the sound when playing it after bedtime. My Dad used to get so frustrated that the player with the magnetic ball would just run in circles that he used to boil the removable rubber base flaps in various mixtures like linseed oil, butter, you name it, trying to soften them up to hopefully run in a relatively straight line. Never made much difference though. I always wanted the hockey game with the illuminating goal feature but alas, Santa never produced one.

I’ve got a friend who is a teacher there. Not sure what city. He’s been posting on FB how windy and rainy it’s been the last few weeks:

My kickers had the worst fg percentages ever and my qbs couldn't throw deep. Terrible completion percentage. Three yards and a cloud of metal. :smiley1::cool:

I think Senquez Golson is available. He might play well under social distancing rules. I never saw him within six feet of a receiver anyway.....

Not entirely true. He was carted off the field three years in a row. Ok, so it was a practice field.

The rebuilding units will suffer more than those coming back stable and whole. Our defense should be at the top of the league this season. Our offense won't have the luxury of stability within its ranks or continuity of coaching. Our offense is going to need playing time to gel. I think we have the pieces, but they are going to resemble the electronic game for a while. And the cheerleader is happy to have them running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Just keep pumping that fist.

You have to keep in mind that some of those guys do have some underlying health issues despite their outward appearances.

Plenty of them have asthma or may have had some respiratory illness before. Wasn't there just a kid who found out at the combine that his heart was on the opposite side?

Don't. It's not as fun as you think you remembered. When they just start doing circles and going backwards...

Yeah. He was going to have a hard enough time with a full offseason. He has very little chance of doing anything positive this season.

Hopefully Anthony Lynn starts Tyrod Taylor. New venue or not, give Herbert some time. He needs to adjust as he is still too much of an athlete and not enough of a Quarterback.
