Should the NFL follow Nascar's lead in not allowing testing before events?

Nascar's event this weekend went on without a hitch because besides not allowing fans in; they also did not allow any medical testing to take place on drivers, crews, staff, or raceway employees.

Hey, every 3rd grader knows that if you don't take the test you can't fail!

I wonder if the NFL would consider this no testing policy?

    That would be foolish.

No test means no risk. Each driver was allowed to bring 16 crew members, add that to all the officials and stadium staff your in to a few thousand people. Having 50+ positive tests would be almost a guarantee.

    No tests no positive cases.
No tests no CDC calling the 50 to 100 positive tests an outbreak.
No tests no local health organization trying to Quarantine everyone for 14 days.

If the NFL wants to learn from Nascar have the tests at the beginning of training camp, or now; and then no more testing for the virus. Under no circumstances do you want to test your staff and team anywhere near the time of the event.

open everything back up. No tests, no drugs, no vaccines, no doctors, no masks, no gloves, no social distancing. Nothing. It’s the only solution. We’ve become a nation of <snip>. Maybe doing so will also help save us from the satanic pedophilia ring in Hollywood. Another benefit is we won’t need to put the 800 fema prison camps to use.

    Mod Edit.

I think not testing the drivers and pit crews is a dumb move, football is however a contact sport, testing will be an integral part of having a season without causing an outbreak through out the league, it's iffy as it is whether or not if there will even be a season, but testing players coaches and support staff often is a must....
