Thanks for the spoiler alert. jk.

Glad we are opening in Prime time. Would like to see Ben keep that beard and throw defenders off him like Sasquatch while tossing TD's to all his weapons.

Free shots at Tom Brady, and who cares if we lose!

    I like that schedule.

    I don’t fear afc south
    Ravens likely split
NFC east is trash, Dallas will be tough

Starting strong this season is going to be even more important than ever. Back half of the schedule eases up a bit. The first half definitely is looking tough.

I would take 5-3. However, 6-2 would be very nice.

I'm sure Gooddell was pleading for them to play Tampa Bay twice though.

I still can't believe that my son and I were rooting for Baker Mayfield along with 50,000 others at Heinz Field last year. Of coarse he choked and my son's first game there was a very silent victory.

In total yes. Based on by quarters of the season though?! Different set of metrics.

Strength of schedule means nothing to me imo. This team can beat and lose to anyone

best case scenario 10 -6 and worst 7-9 and still make the playoff with the new format

The over/under for wins this year is 9 for the Steelers. That seems about right. I can see 3-3 in the division, losing 2 to the Rats, splitting with the Browns and sweeping the Bengals.
2-2 in the NFC East. Losing to the Cowboys and home against Wentz and the Eagles. We should beat the Giants and Redskins.
3-1 against the AFC South with the one loss at the Titans.
The other 2 games should be a win at home against the Broncos but losing at Buffalo. That puts the record at 9-7.

Well the HOF is technically an away game for both but I'm betting its a hometown crowd for that one. Steeler Nation will represent. The others are a glitch. Don't we flip flop with Carolina every year

The Steelers 2 home pre-season games are against the Bucs and the Saints. The away games are against the Jets and Panthers.

I for one am very happy that 7 out of 8 of the home games are at 1 pm. Those are a lot easier in my old bones to attend and get back home.

Away games, now I prefer 4 pm.

    It’s all about me. ;)

Teams make their own preseason schedules. Not the NFL. Dan Rooney and Jerry Richardson, prior owner of Carolina, we’re friends. That relationship is gone. Thus went the series.
