So we get Rodgers in 2 years (2022) at 38 years old . Just like Ben is now . It would give us another 2 year window. Not a bad option to think about. I could also see value in a guy like Derek Carr down the road . But I also have a feeling Ben will want to play longer then the 2 years left on contract .

Not anymore. Not to the point which that trade would make sense.

He still is. Ben wouldn't have took Greenbay to the conference championship last yr. That wasn't that great of a team. But that trade makes no sense because we don't have enough talent even with rodgers to compete for a ring. With rodgers we still aren't on the level of the chiefs or ravens.

Same level playing field IMO, Rodgers has dropped off a lot. I’m fine with someone saying he’s a little better then Ben but he’s not on another tier. There was a time I felt Rogers was the best in the league.

He's not the best in the league anymore but other than about 5 qbs there's no one I'd take over rodgers. There's more than 5 I'd rather have than Ben rn.

we might be able to sell that package to Houston for JJ Watt...….. So long as Bill O'Brian is calling the shots, anything's possible

on a serious note, Aaron Rodgers is going nowhere for any reason...… This is the same formula the packers used when they drafted Rodgers and let him cool his heels for a few yrs. while Bret Favre was still around... All they did was secure the future

I have a buddy who is a rabid Packers fan... basically like us; talking on a message board, checking the news every day, etc. He was thrilled with the pick of Love, and said that Rodgers has one foot out the door already. He expects Rodgers to be gone after one or two more seasons.

Look at rogers stats from last year. Look at Ben's from 2018. Green Bay made it to the conference championship based on its defense and its running game. Rogers is not the rogers of old. He was 20th in QBR, behind Daniel Jones and Baker Mayfield. Anyone paying attention knows Rogers is oh his downslope.

That's not accurate. Rodgers had a 95.4 QB rating. Jones had an 87.4, and Mayfield a 78.8.

qbr is a different animal than rating. Go to ESPN, click on the stats under football, and see what I mean. And Rogers with a 95 rating is way below vintage Rogers. Hell, he’s always in the 110s. So yeah, he’s falling.

Rodgers would demand that running the ball must stop. he is about himself and his success.

Why not just see if we can trade Fox for Bradshaw?

Put weapons around Rodgers and he could still be a big difference maker. GB have Davonte Adams and that’s about it. I think I saw recently that they haven’t drafted a WR in the first three rounds since Adams or spent more than $5m on a FA WR in that time. That’s absolutely crazy.

I do think he will finish his career away from GB, as soon as they can get out from under that contract I think they’ll trade or waive him.
