Rookie year didn't he, it's been a long time ago. That's when Cowher had him as more a game manager type QB.

12 I think. The team won 15 games though.

I looked it up: 13 consecutive wins credited to Ben his rookie season.

Lamar does give me concern as I said before. However, this league is not going to allow the likes of Lamar Jackson to run amok now that there is a full season of work at teams disposal. In addition, Pittsburgh would have beaten Baltimore had it not been for the likes of Earl Thomas III and JuJu Smith Schuster. Other than that game, Lamar definitely has opened up a new world of possibilities for Quarterbacks in general. That said, while his electrifying play making is undeniable, his ability to throw the football, while much better than his rookie season, is still not something to be entirely fearful of.

Baker already has reaffirmed what I said about him back during the 2018 NFL Draft; a good play maker with good arm talent, good instincts, maneuverability and accuracy to match but not too much else to write about. Baker has to be on the move to fully unlock his talents. While he is difficult to bring down given his ability to move in the pocket, he does not have nearly as much mobility as Lamar to do so. Add in his wild, reckless abandon both on and off the field and it is only a matter of time unless Baker can prove himself in 2020.

Joe Burrow is essentially a rich man's Andy Dalton. Not going any further as Andy Dalton has given me plenty of tape to imagine what Joe Burrow will be; good but not great. Even with Zach Taylor, I do not think Joe Burrow is going to be someone that shocks the NFL as so many others expect him to.

Overall, none of the Quarterbacks in the AFC North strike fear for me. Keep in I said the AFC North. Now, as for the AFC?! Patrick Mahomes AINEC. Transcendent arm talent with Andy Reid at the controls and weapons galore?! Kansas City is going to be an issue for a while as problems can be solved. Patrick Mahomes alone is an issue.

Makes sense. Dalton will still be better than Burrow next year & someone already has called out Baker for what he is, a twit on the Browns QB timeline. Teams have another year on Lamar's tendencies although he is a handful.

Jackson is, to me, another Randall Cunningham and it only took on good shot to bring RC back to average. However, their roster is looking very ominous these days especially since the draft.
