    Very much agree.

But come to think of it, we shouldnt be surprised. LB and WR have been the top two picks for I think 3 of the last 4 drafts.

almost all 4 if you think of Edmunds as almost a LB himself.

He’s got skills and high motor. Let him contribute on ST and in sub packages while he develops for a year. Has to learn to get off blocks, biggest weakness probably, not great length.

Dang. Phillips is a good lineman with some versatility. Man, the Ravens seem to be drafting well.

So far, I don't dislike the players the Steelers took, but I'm disappointed. I would have much rather they take Biadasz there. I think they would have had a shot at Highsmith in the fourth. I like drafting someone who could replace Dupree in 2021 and a year with NFL coaching and conditioning could put Highsmith in a position to do that well, but I agree with others saying this was a bit too early to take him and the need on the offensive line is glaring.

Who, Highsmith? I think it was a bit of a reach, but he may end up being productive. Clemson had a lot of praise for the kid.

Highsmith said the Steelers told him that he would mostly play on special teams in 2020, they're grooming him to take over for Dupree in 2021 most likely.

Him and T.J. Watt have the exact same Arm Length though at 33.18. Only major difference length wise is that T.J. Watt has a better wingpsan by two inches. I agree with you about Alex not getting off of blocks quickly enough. That said, he is naturally heavy handed. I think he will be okay.

That and T.J. is much better :lolol:

Don’t know if Highsmith can ever reach that level, he can definitely be a good player though. He can fill the Robin roll to Watts Batman.

He has a good swing and spin move, motor runs hot like T.J.’s

I think I see a trend with a few guys that fell.

Dobbins - No 40 time at combine.

Biadasz - no combine workout due to injury

    Cushenberry - incomplete combine workout

Since most pro days didnt occur, those were incomplete combine workouts really created an unknown with teams and seemed to create hesitation.
