I don't take chances with the scalpers because sadly we left the Burgh in the 80's. I only get back to see one game live every year so I'm not gonna take my chances. I'll just get gouged by ticket excahnge. Crazy high prices.

yeah, I don't take my chances with scalpers either. I just purchased them from Ticketmaster or Stubhub. I thought that was risky enough. But at least if they are not legit you can get your money back.

Here's one scalper I met on the corner of 6th Street and Fort Duquesne (across the Clemente Bridge from PNC at the intersection at the corner the Renaissance hotel sits at): 412-670-3519 (Darryl) or 412-670-4031 (George).

I already had my tickets lined up but I got his card in case I wanted to pick something up later.

I didn't make it down to the ticket resell area (Tony Dorsett Dr/North Shore Dr) as I wanted to catch the early games at Bettis' Grille.

Actually, I picked up some tickets for a couple of friends in the Burgh who couldn't afford tickets to the game (a teacher and an actress) and got upper end zone for only $88 apiece. That's gonna be hard to beat. It was about $200 after all of the Stub Hub fees (and Stub Hub guarantees the validity of the tickets for those that are worried).

Ouch!! Ticket exchange is the way to go. I realize people want a hard ticket but dont know if its worth $70-$100 a piece.
