Claypool is a run away truck at 238 lbs and runs a 4.42.

We got our big downfield target. Great pick!

It will make the other WR's jobs much easier.

Why? He's not in the top 10 WR and we didn't need one. I like the kid but this is so bad.

    Metcalf >>>> this guy.

We could have at least traded back and got him.

In Colbert I trust. I would never put my money down on criticizing our team's ability to scout and develop WR

He had 13 TDs last season , he will be a deep threat, he could be a matchup nightmare for defenses.

come on, please....I'm saying he played great STs in college as well as his stellar play at WR.. why would we go with Albert OK after getting Ebron in FA?

Totally agreed, but at this point- why not Dobbins? He practically fell into their laps.

I read somewhere that Megatron is the only other player ever to run as fast at the combine as Claypool at that size. I'm onboard.

Well I like Dobbins but like I posted back a few pages, CEH to me was the real #1 and he was drafted like that. He was the only one I considered worth it at 49. Dobbins, Taylor, Swift. They show high level play for sure but only CEH shows me that "it" when I watched him.

Now Zach Baun I wouldnt have been mad at.

This guy is going to end up being a TE anyways. He's too slow. Albert O is better and could have been got in the 3rd.

Like it...huge, fast and very productive...13 TD's.... I'll give them the benefit...Quite a few I liked, but they're usually pretty good with WR's

    Told ya ;)

Obviously I had Dobbins ahead of Claypool, but the two were very close on my list. If not Dobbins Im glad it was him.

Claypool compares to JJ Arcega-Whiteside from last year that I really liked.

Claypool starts as the #4 and will be a big contributor on ST. He could eventually take over for JuJu if we decide not to extend him.

Claypool is big and fast. He's smart. Tries hard. Competes on ST. Loves the jumpball. Works well on the sidelines.

We will always wonder what could have been with Dobbins but Claypool is that big target we always look for.

Slow like mentally? Cuz a 4.42 seems kind of fast to me.
