I liked Mariota, but it didn’t happen. I still think he will win the starting job and do well for the Raiders.

How about trading for AaRon Rodgers? Rumors are he is unhappy with the Packers getting Love. We could trade Big Ben and a pick in 2021 for Rodgers. I like Big Ben, but Rodgers would give us an upgrade for about three years. If they draft a top WR or RB today, the Steelers would be tough to beat.

I’m pretty sure a thoroughly thought out topic such as this deserves a significantly larger facepalm.

While we're at it, let's give the Rams a call and see if they'll trade Donald for McCullers and a 6th round 2023 pick

There is absolutely no value of Rodgers over Ben. Both old, both have health issues and on the same level playing field.

You’re only throwing away a draft pic.

Personally I'd rather trade for Mahomes.. Maybe package a deal involving Ben and Switzer for Mahomes and hill.. Chiefs will be fools not to take it

I was thinking we could trade Ben for Burrow. If you're Cincinnati, you're getting a two time Superbowl champion for a guy who has never even won an NFL game. It's a steal!

Shouldn't we be getting the 6th?

I don't see why we can't have Burrow, Ben as Back up and Brady holding the clipboard.:hmm:

Ok I thought this was a thread of Rogers to Dallas to reunite him with his old coach.

Jerry was talking that there was going to be a splash...

Smart thinking. Gave myself an enema with Clorox last night. Haven’t felt this healthy in years.

The way Rodgers contract is structured they can’t really get rid of him before 2023. I really don’t understand the Love pick, Rodgers is going nowhere for years, wiping out the benefit of having Love on that cheap rookie deal even if he works out. Crazy pick imo.

yep agree, posted in another thread....Packers would have to swallow some 50 mill in debt to trade Rodgers...its just not going to happen. QB room will be crickets though when it comes to "do you have anything to add?"

I admit it is very unrealistic that Rodgers would leave GB for Pittsburgh. However, I was surprised when Favre left GB after they brought in Rodgers. If Rodgers demanded to be traded, who knows what might happen? Maybe it’s just a pipe dream, but I like to imagine what might be with Rodgers in black and gold...

Rogers is a great player but too toxic for my taste. There is no telling what he will do at any point if he doesn't get his way.

Umm Favre left GB several seasons after they drafted Rodgers. The Packers couldn't keep Rodgers waiting in the wings any longer. They told Favre to leave. Not the same situation at all.

    Come back to reality.
