Pennsylvania’s governor is an idiot. He doesn’t have the balls to make a decision. He refused to close schools. One superintendent started calling others and they on their own decided to close. They called the governor and told him they were closing the schools on Friday afternoon. An hour later Governor Wolf announced he was closing schools. He still has provided no other direction.

No doubt but DeSantis leaving all those beaches open for spring break earns him the title of mayor of Amitiville Island. Blunder for the ages.

Had a family member get it. Was laid up for a week and said he didn't feel right for 3 weeks after.

My wife had it and it was barely noticeable. We don't know if I had it because I didn't get cleared for a test until I was feeling better (I tested negative), but if I had it I had no impact other than being slightly out of breath like a mild asthma attack off and on for about a week (which is how it affected her as well). As transmittable as it is, it seems likely that I was exposed, but until I can get an antibody test I won't know.

It’s very likely you had it if your wife did. Good to hear you guy’s battled through it. I would think it’s a bit of a relief compared to the anxiety people are feeling about getting it themselves. Stay healthy....

Thanks man. I still have quite a bit of anxiety over our parents and other older relatives, but there's not much we can do right now except for making grocery/pharmacy runs for the ones who are local.

I`m for the first time seeing news that in the countries that did "good" fighting Covid-19 and loosened restrictions are seeing restarts of community spread.

Fighting this virus is like trying to stop a force of nature like wind or water. All we can do is slow the spread temporarily. Until there is an effective antiviral, which may never happen, there is a tough decision to be made after the 30 day attempt to contain this is over.

Guarantee you it’s extended another 30 days. They will pass another relief bill to help people in the meantime.

They won’t make any type of decision you are talking about for months yet.

I agree on the one month extension as a sure thing. I`m wondering if attitudes will start to shift after 60 days.

Thanks. I hope work is a safe environment for you if you take the standard precautions (frequent hand washing, maintaining distance).

I'm surprised nobody is talking about the good news announced by UPMC today. They believe that the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine has found a vaccine that can be delivered quickly. The vaccine can be attached to your finger like a band-aid. There are 400 microscopic needles on the patch that will dissolve into your skin.
Wouldn't it be great if the cure for this world wide pandemic was found right here in the Burgh.

Back to the OP's name for this thread: "Will There Even Be an NFL Season?".
I try to be an optimist in all things important. But, if I were a betting man, and based on the way things are going right now, I'd say there will be NO sports gathering/events of any kind the remainder of this calendar year. There may be a lift on some travel/work restrictions, but large gatherings will be banned until....???? I hope I'm eating an abundance of crow in 30-60 days.
