Yeah seeing on twitter he started every post season game for the Chiefs last year at guard and has been on winning team on 2 of the last three superbowl team.

At the bare minimum, he could take on Finney's old role as a backup at guard and center. I'm guessing the hope is that one of the younger guys can handle right tackle and allow Feiler to move to guard with Wisniewski as a reserve, but that is a nice insurance policy they just added. There really isn't an upside with a 31-year-old, but this move certainly makes things look better for 2020 and 2021.

solid move, now Feiler moves or he doesn't they are covered either way.....

Still expect an IOL pick early though.

Didn’t know much about him but I see he is a local guy born and reared in Pitt which is a nice touch. Hope he can contribute.

I like the move although I don't know how much they will pay him. He has had an up and down career with the best of it being lately, let's hope that trend continues!

Word is he will take Finney's spot not Foster starting role. But a good move after Finney left.

If you look at the depth chart it shows Feiler as the RT and Chucks as LG so I am guessing what you are hearing is right for now.

Music to my ears. Fix the OL and the offense will hum. We have good players at the skill positions. More than capable. If Ben's arm continues to rehab well and he's in good playing shape day one, defenses will have to honor that. That will take pressure off the running game as stopping Ben will again become a priority. Keep Ben upright and open some running lanes. Our offense can, and will, move the ball. Our defense should come back on the same level if not better.

Lot of ifs still, and yes, it's only March. But "if" Tuitt comes back strong and stays healthy, our D is better. As we stand, no offense to Ron Cook, we are a better team than left the field embarassed last season.

Wisniewski is a very good replacement for Finney. He is actually a better center and a better pass blocker overall, but not quite as good at guard. I'll take that, especially with Pouncey's injury history. He is two years older than Finney, but he is really only a stopgap for a year or two anyway.

I like this move, if they draft a IOL he won't have to start right away.

I suppose this shoots down the possibility of Matt or Chuks being moved inside. Stefen can definitely serve as a stop gap option while Pittsburgh uses one of their early round picks on an interior lineman. Given the fact that Stefen has good starting experience and this Interior Offensive Lineman class is deep, this then boils down to two positions the Steelers can attack at pick 49.

    1.) Running Back

James Conner cannot stay healthy. Nevermind the health, his contract is up come 2021. Does this team believe that Benny Snell Jr. is the guy?! Given how much effort the team put in during both the Senior Bowl and Combine scouting said position, I doubt it but who knows thanks in part to COVID 19. Pro Days are essential in whom Pittsburgh can select and, due to the outbreak, literally any prospect is up in the air.

    2.) Defensive Hybrid Player

I really should call this the "Jeremy Chinn/K'Von Wallace" section because those two can do just about any position on defense not involving their hand in the dirt. I initially was going to put Inside Linebacker here but UG3's potential as shown last season was simply too good for my liking. Regarding the Hybrid position, no Mark Barron means a massive chasm within the depth of the both the Safety and Linebacker positions for the hybrid role. Of the two, I would imagine K'Von would get the nod purely due to his Power 5 experience although Chinn being the nephew of HOF Steve Atwater does hold some weight. In addition, the team found success in Javon Hargrave who came from a small school. No reason to assume why lightning cannot strike twice.

Of the two, I would rather have the team spend it on a Running Back. As much as I like Snell, he is not on the same caliber as J.K. Dobbins, Johnathan Taylor or even Cam Akers. Nevermind having a Running Back who is reliable but having one on a rookie contract.

That all makes sense, but I still think there is a decent chance we will see Okorafor or Feiler at guard next season.

Probably better than Pouncey, And I'm serious... Horrible at snapping, and I seen games where he got pushed into the QB quite often
