My pleasure! I'm betting God himself at QB for the Bengals would not be able to overcome the Bengals. And Mayfield is the next Johnny Manzeil. And the league will figure out LJ this year and he will just be a good running QB. Unfortunately our coaching and ownership aren't going to change their stripes.

Let's hope we can celebrate me being wrong on one of those:cool:

Other than the Steelers themselves, the Ravens are their only competition year after year. The two Ohio teams cannot get out of their own way. Their combined playoff wins the past 20 years and the fact both teams were worse in 2019 than 2018 should tell you all you need to know about those franchises. Frankly, I feel bad for Burrow. Until the Bengals choose him, there’s always a chance they take a punter.

It wouldn't surprise me if Brady moves on from the Patriots... Patriots go 5-11 in 2020, then Patriots get Trevor Lawrence in 2021. If this happens, I'm done with the NFL.

    Do I smell a boycott?

No worries, the Patriots won't go 5-11 in 2020. Belichick has proven to be able to defeat previously known certainties.

Not really. I absolutely expect the Steelers to have 17 games seasons occasionally in the near future. Even if there are only 16 regular season games:hehehe:

The Jim Mora, Denny Green and Mike Singletary post game press conferences are classic. Mora had some good ones with the Saints, too. Too bad coaches don't get emotional anymore in post game. We have to look at the NCAA ranks these days to find awesome post game rants. Tomlin, Harbaugh, Belichick, etc.... are about as robotic as one could get and boring as hell.

Belicheat would never go 5-12 now he has perfected cheating under the radar. Now if he moves on they could get superQB but then it wouldn't matter much.

Bobby Knight was my favorite post game, in game, no game coach that talked to the press.

That would damn near kill me. You can see some College QB's have what it takes to excel in the NFL. Lawrence is one as well as the future Bengals QB.

I have to admit that I didn't see much of Burrows in college but I heard a discussion about him yesterday. Very average until last year in which he excelled in a dominant offensive scheme. I just don't place a ton of importance on draft grades. Be honest, how many QB's have been exactly what the pendants said they would be........good or bad.......I would guess it is less than 20%.

Having Burrows succeed as a Bengal is less likely than Tomlin winning all the rest of his games he ever coaches.

I was going to fix that for ya but I didn't want to jinx Tomlin in case he's finally figured out that he can't be the players best friend;)

I don't get the Bengals will surpass us nonsense. The Red Rifle is still a decent QB that they put on the bench last year. Another bungled decision by their front office. This right after they let their best oline players walk the season before. I guess they wanted a #1 top draft pick QB to sell some tickets.

Sometimes the look on Popcorn's face tells me some of them need a best friend.

There are a lot of people who probably don't pay too much attention to anything but the final score of games and they sit waiting for bad things to happen. The Bengals are almost as dysfunctional as the Browns and neither of them will ever truly be any good under the current owners they have.

Sadly, the same thing could be said about the Steelers at present.

I hate it when I think your doom and gloom may be correct:smiley1: I fear we may be in for a long stretch of mediocrity.
