And here I thought it was a tough schedule other than the Bengals.

I would like to see how strength of schedule plays out from before the season to end of season. I'll bet it changes dramatically.

The Patriots schedule is the toughest that they have seen in years. They play the Chiefs, Ravens, Texans, 49ers, Seahawks, Rams and the Bills twice. If Brady leaves for another team they could have their first losing season since 2000.

But as we see each year, there are teams who we thought would be tough and end up being simple.

    Rams???
Also having a team that can overcome their 'special' ways in their division is why their schedule looks tougher this year imo.

The Rams had a winning record last year and played in the Superbowl the season before. You're right about Belichick finding his "special" ways to win. This season he will need to be more devious than ever to keep the Patriots a contender.

I thought we had it easy as I commented on an earlier thread about the schedule. NFC Least, no Chiefs, etc.. Was kind of obvious.

It`s all about Ben this time around. If he has a good year left in him and the defense is as good as last year, we can go far.

    won't matter anymore.
you would have to be an awful team to miss the Playoffs now if they add teams to the tournament!
    Everybody gets in!

Browns and Cowboys finally got a chance!

Looking back at the Rams scedule last year I see that any team with just a decent defense can beat them. Even in the SB.

Conspiracy Theory: Belli has his crack videography department retrofitted for R&D. They design mind reading inserts to sneak into opposition's helmets. Entire game plans are downloaded from the opposing noggins before the game starts. They won't have the mind control prototype done for this season, but next year is a distinct possibility.

Their qb is no good. Worst contract in the NFL.

Or has the great McVay been figured out? Honestly I think that they are successful only when Gurley has a good game.

Mcvay can only do so much. The players at the end of the day have to execute and i agree with the Todd Gurley assessment. Him not being good anymore really messed things up. I still thinking he'd been healthy they win that sb

If the players approve of the new agreement by March 18th, there could be a 17th game added this coming season. The format as who your opponents are now is clear cut. I have no idea as to how the 17th opponent will be chosen.

SOS appears to mean very little in today's NFL.

I think it's a mistake to increase to 17 games and have 14 teams make the playoffs. I hope the players don't agree. I will become more a of a passive watcher if the owners tinker in an effort to make more money. I think the quality of the league will go down if they increase the number of games teams play and if the league adds another team into the playoffs. I am not a fan of the injuries that will occur as a result of the increase in games. I am not a fan of 8-8 teams making it into the post season.

6-10. And we can draft a QB if Roethlisberger and Rudolph both sh!t the bed.

The defense will be good but not great in 2020. The offense will struggle again no matter who is starting at QB. It's gonna be one of those down years like Cowher had in '99 and '03. I'm already mentally prepared for it.

Ben will have a year of rust on him and at age 38 thats going to be hard for him to shake, when you consider he wont be fully involved in camp, dont expect him to be superbowl ready this year at all....

Ben's not gonna play along with these doomsday scenarios. 10-6 or 8-8 at the least. Tomlin's legacy lives on.

    Edit: 4-2 in the division
Steelers won't miss the playoffs three years in a row, take it to the bank.

Nah. We have a bounce back year IMO. Could even have very god W-L record and achieve "paper tiger" status before we get knocked out of the playoffs.

Edit: This presumes Ben plays the whole season.
