What will Ben do after he retires?

Ben is about as polarizing as an NFL player can be.

To some he is nothing more than a necessary evil.

To some he is a horrible team-mate.

To some he is simply a winner.

To some he he is all about the game.

To some he is all about himself.

What do you see in Ben's future once he hangs them up?

 

I thing he will be the invisible family man. Every once in a while someone will see him at one of his kids soccer game or something like that, but I think his public appearances will be few and far between.

I was going to make that one of the voting options but then nobody would have voted for anything else.

Lay low until he gets inducted into Canton. After that, likely will not hear from him again barring extreme circumstances.

 

He plans to co-author a 9/11 conspiracy book with Rashard Mendenhall.

 

I see Ben as more of a broadcaster color analyst.

 

I could see him coaching in like his kids leagues but not professionally. I think he will occupy his time making his money work for him. Ben's charter party boat & maybe some other nefarious ventures along with some respectable ones.

 

Are you saying that nefarious can't be respectable?

I don’t think he necessarily speaks all that well.

 

Before reading these I just assumed he would be befriending and joining Marie on the NutriSystem stage (except he'd have to be kneeling to fit them both in the same picture)

He'll own half a dozen or more businesses and end up a minority partner of a professional sports team. I don't think he'll be a regular on Sunday broadcasts, but he'll likely be a guest from time to time. I don't think he'll put himself in the spotlight.

 

That depends on who you ask. Myself I say nefarious could be respectable but not likely considering the type of individual the nefarious activity attracts.

 

Somehow I see Ben being an Iditarod racer. Of coarse he will need more dogs than the rest of the competitors for very obvious reasons during his early retirement.
