He's taking about the rainbow and the group who uses it as their symbol.

Everyone, this thread is going off the rails. Keep it to Garrett's accusation and its merit or lack thereof.

Got it. Sorry Ray and all. My bad. I'll delete it. If you (Ray) and Troy do the same it will be gone.

No worries. I just don't want this to turn into an airing of unrelated grievances or a holy war. :lolol:

No problemo - but I still remember your beer commercial from the 70's: "You can call me Ray, or you can call me................" :roflmao:

Kudos to Tomlin for coming out with some vigor instead of blaze cliche`s to point out what a POS Garrett really is.

I would love to be MR's attorney! I guarantee you the NFL is sick to death of this issue being in the fore-front and I would use that to MR"s advantage. Go to the NFL and say "you either suspend him again for conduct unbecoming or we are going to sue him for defamation".

I'd love to see someone put a screw in King Rogers back and twist it....hard!

Age too but I was talking about out of what you mentioned. Nationality and race kinda are the same thing. And yes Africans and black Americans are two different things.

I'm with you on that. Its 2020 now. Not 1950. It's still racism but it's slowly dying out each year.

They all do in there respective communities and had trials and tribulations historically in different ways. But the largest level of racism in our country happened from whites towards blacks.

I'm just saying a person who is black more than likely is going to have a different feeling toward the issue because it's directly can effect them.

I've watched the interview. I've worked in Sales since I was 19 years old (over 15 years). I'm no human lie detector, but when your in sales you become some what adept to look at body language, eyes, mannerisms, etc. when you dealing with people.

No where in hearing him speak or watching him do I think he's being truthful.

I just don't get the vibe from the interview, and I'm not trying to do this without my rose colored Steelers glasses on.

Do I think Rudolph said something? Sure he did, I'm sure he called him a lot of possible bad names or meanings, but not that word.

I mean you could call some one a F-ing POS to their face and it would anger them enough to do a helmet swing etc.

I have to admit he is a POS. I didn't know much about him previously and from watching hard knocks I thought he was a decent guy. But he didn't even show any level of contrition in his most recent interview and is sticking toy hat N word narrative when no one else confirmed it. He again should have just moved on after he got reinstated.

He is tied to it like a 100 pound anchor. He cant dial it back because it would mean that he lied multiple times and his credibility is shot. Once the news about him claiming it the appeal got out he had a small window in which to walk it back with some waffling about he thought he heard it which would allow both sides to move on without casting more stones. Since that news broke he has to continue to say it because the reality is that he lost control and tried to beat a guy with a helmet.

Rudolph is no Richie incognito. Just don’t see it. If he did say it I’d be the first to want him off the team. I don’t believe in suing or taking people to court but I wouldn’t blame mason at all for suing. His image is destroyed, including potential sponsorships. Myles Garrett is a soft little puss, no place for beta males in a hard nosed sport.

Your right. I do think that not being black does not cut me with the term as deep as someone who is. Some of my best learning experiences in life has been on how to deal with haters. They are everywhere.

Now the douche GM Dorsey is tripling down. Does anyone’s with a brain think it wouldn’t of spread like wildfire right on the field if he said it? MG himself would of been screaming about it and everyone would of known. Now it seems only his loser GM and his ***** teammate.Obi(whatever the ****) are the only ones he told. Please....

With leadership like that no wonder they suck and will suck until they get respectable people in place...

Might be hoping that the Browns reconsider and hire him back as a personnel consultant that way when they go 4-12 they have a sacrificial lamb.
