I could see that. I’m thinking the Smith experiment if they should bring him back should maybe stay at FB.

    2:17 RB J.K. Dobbins

3:35 (Estimated Compensatory Pick) TE Albert Okwuegbunam

4:18 BPA at Offensive Line? That’s my instinct but let’s go with… DL Leki Fotu

4:29 Our pick from Tennessee-via-Miami turns into… Guard Michael Owenu

6:19 BPA at WR, Safety, ILB, or Center. Let’s go with… Safety Tanner Muse, Clemson

    7:18 WR James Proche, SMU

Trust me you will love what you see from that kid, he is growing on me. I know he isn't tall but his hands......oh his hands, man that didn't sound right. Also like Robinson from Cuse he had a nice game last weekend.

Good news is that some other player will drop!

But he does sound like a good pick up at 49.

Hmmm, he has Baun falling close to us, I wonder how he would fit in as an ILB, to rotate in for VW and somewhat Bush, and evenutally Fad out VW ( I like VW, but he isn't going to be here for ever.

Gillimore, DT is ranked pretty high.

It looks like ther are going going to be some good players where we pick.

I keep seeing where Herbert could fall into the 40's. If he does fall to the early-mid 40's, should the Steelers make a move?

I would. I like the kid. He has a canon.

Not a fan of Stenberg. Penalty machine. I do like how both lines were addressed though in the first four.

Don't know much about Magnifico, I will have to look him up.

In all honesty, if Herbert does indeed fall that far, that would be worth investigating. Then again, just one issue. Even accouting for JuJu and Troy, Pittsburgh has not selected players from the PAC-12 more than five times in the first two rounds since 2000.

Again, only Troy and JuJu are the ones. Keep in mind that Pittsburgh does not like traveling that far west to scout anyways. For that matter, Mike Tomlin has publicly admitted he is a big fan of the SEC.

I don’t thing we have to worry about Herbert. If MT is such a fan of the SEC maybe we should be looking to draft more players from Alabama. Frazier and Buggs recently but they were late picks probably by recommendation of Dunbar. Supposedly they tried moving up for Evans...but other than that....Maybe Minkah changes things....

    Ah.... Jacob Eason... I see.

To me, in terms of overall arm talent and arm strength, good luck finding a better QB in this year's draft. Eason can make any throw at his beckon call and is not short on confidence to pull the trigger. That said, his pocket presence, pocket poise and overall throwing mechanics, especially his hips, leave much to be desired.

He will need to see the bench for a year to get him acclimated. Assuming one does want to start him from the get go, a power running game better be within that offense. Otherwise Eason will fail.

This isn't all that bad however I am not liking Moss in the 2nd round. I am far from a draft expert but going by rankings I have been reading I feel like Dillon and Perine could be had later on and both are very good RB's. The rest of this draft is not bad Runyan could be a steal. Also keep an eye on the Syracuse punter he could be an undrafted steal and with little draft picks could be very important.

I would love Moss on this team, I think he will be a good pro.....BUT I just don't want to spend the highest pick we have on a RB. Like many have said before, (and the same with WR) if you're not going to get the Alpha male lead dog for that position in the 2nd, why spend the capitol when you would be merely adding to the already assembled talent. And I'm just talking about those two positions - RB and WR. We have good, young players at those spots. If you are not getting a clear #1 RB or WR with that 49th pick, I would wait until the later rounds.

I agree 100% and I am not against Moss but not in the 2nd. Like you say if you aren't getting a guy like Dobbins or Taylor I am fine with it but I am not wanting a RB with our first pick in the draft. Like I mentioned Perine and Dillon are 2 very good backs I would love to have if they are there in the 4th round. I think the same thing about WR and agree with you we have good young players here. From what I have read around here we are the few that feel our WR group is good. I would be fine if we didn't add one in the draft cause I like Juju, JW, DJ and Cain.

I would take Jonathan Taylor at #49, then he would be the lead RB in 2021.

I am not even sure it would take that long, Taylor or Dobbins for me are 2 guys I feel are studs......don't sleep on Dillon and Perine either.

I am not even sure we are guaranteed a 3rd round comp. Wait and see, but would not surprise me if it is a 4th rounder. if so it will be a long wait.
